MALPHITE - TANK STYLE
Malphite is by far one of the most flexible tanks. There's not one perfect build for all situations, you'll have to make your build according to who your opponents are, and how they build.
Very good survivability because of your incredible armor
Best fight initiator with your ult

Has mana problems
Seismic Shard (Q)
This is your most important skill early to mid game. It's great for harrasing, hunting and escaping. You should always use this skill when someones gets too close, and get a couple of hits on them.
Brutal Strikes (W)
This skill is your late game skill, as it gives percents of armor and attack damage. It is a great tanking tanking skill, and should be spammed in team fights, you only have 3 secs where it's not in use. You should turn this one on, before you use E, as it increases it's damage.
Ground Slam (E)
This ability is pure awesomeness - as Malphite has lot and lots of armor this deals a lot. And as a bonus it slows enemies attack speed, which is great versus physical DPS's as Tristana, Ashe and Kogmaw.
Unstoppable Force (R)
In my opinion this is the best ability of all tanks. It has a long cooldown so dont waste it on kill steals, or getting faster forward. While on CD go for the blue buff, which is very important for Malphite as he has mana issues. You should hit at least 3-4 enemies with this skill. Remember, you can do awesome ganks by doing this though walls. A good place is at the two corners of mid. I've really got awesome ganks by doing this. Always use W-E just after landing at destination.
I'm not gonna explain the whole build in details in this guide. Thought, I wanna say that if you're against a heavy magic damage team you wanna switch Guardian Angel with Force of Nature! This is very important.
The idea behind the build is to get as much amor as possible, and some hp, to be a superb tank and do good damage with your E.
You should be with a nuker (like anivia). Why this? The answer is simple. When enemies come up too close you slow them with your Q (steal their movement speed) and your m8 can do lots of damage. When you hit level 6 you can take down squishy characters down in one sec with this combo: R-W-E and Q them after. Your nuker has three sec or so to do tons of damage to them.
If you're laning partner is pilling, and you find yourself alone in your lane - stay defensive. Your chanceless if you get ganked by 2 or 3 opponents.
Late game, when your ult is on cd, go for blue buff. As said earlier, you do have big mana problems.
And remember: you are the tank, you engage the battles (with R-W-E).
