* Off Constantly

Thank you for your comment, I will change the negative words. I'm from Denmark, where we have a weird sense of humour, so it wasn't meant as something negative.
The mana problem is solved fine, when I have clarity as a summoner spell.
I don't find ghost that necessary, because I buy boots of swiftness, but I do go with flash sometimes.

As I often play with friends, where one of them plays Sona and I lane with him, I don't use heal that much anymore. It was more recommended for those, who are new with Malphite, as I find it good for laning for as long as possible.
As I go all out tank, I don't find room for Trinity Force in my build, but I see why it could be good. However, I find that having a lot of armor is better, because it scales with Malphite's skills.
The weird thing is that I don't need flash for towerdiving, I do that fine even when I don't have it. But it does make it easier, that's true. :)

Thank you very much Tetra.
Nice that you show me your score, especially when it is that good :)
Great to see that the build works for other than me.

just tried out malphite for first time since he was cheap for black friday. i have seen some mals in the past really dominate a game and wondered how...well now i know. i had a great team behind me and i laned with a good sona but even still the damage u can do with mals spells makes him an excellent harasser and his passive ensure u stay alive in the lane. and the combo of just R+E+Q is devastatingn to squishies. i have only a few questions.

since mal is a bit item dependent would there be a close to equally good starting item other than dorans shield to get a head start on an item? also, i find that banshees veil is much better hands down for mal if u are looking for magic resist. force of nature does give about 20 more MR, some nice HP5, and 8% movement, but with your boots the movement is just a cherry on top, not needed. BV not only gives a decent amount of MR but that 30 sec shield is great especially in combo with mals passive giving him essentially 2 shields u have to break through just to start lowering his health. the health is great and another benefit to his passive, and with being mana starved a lot the mana bonus is also very nice.

Other than that its a very good build and +1 from me.

I agree, I also use Banshee's the most, Force of Nature is mostly an add-on item if the enemy team are mainly casters.
I honestly haven't tried that many starter items besides Doran's shield, but you could buy some of the cheaper items, you can use to build Banshee's or Randuin's Omen. But I prefer Doran's as it gives decent HP reg and armor.

Sweet build dude, Malphite rocks :)

You should change your masteries tho, since Nimbleness isn't available before having spent 4 points into Evasion :P Forget the Dodge stuff or take out some points from Strenght of Spirit. +1 at all

Hey. And thx for the comment :)
Hmmm, I'll take a look at that and see if I can get a better mastery tree setup.

In all seriousness most guides on mobafire are noob. This one is near perfect for malphite, except u need to start with dorans ring for mana and runes could use a little tweaking. The masteries could be 9/0/21 as well if u get a solo lane. Don't need clarity if u have this.

But the item build is actually good.
