Hey, sorry this was late but thanks for the comment but ya I like the Greater Mark of Resilience and Greater Quintessence of Swiftness but like you said its personal pref and they also work well, but I was thinking of switching out the Quints Im using for the extra speed but lately I have been in some bad game and just haven't used him as much. But thanks for the comment I'm trying to make some more guides trying out different things and such but thank you.

First of all, I appreciate not being the ONLY person to write a lane Maokai guide. Secondly, I agree with a lot of what you said, especially in the pros and cons section. He doesn't have carry potential (assuming the enemies are your skill level or higher), needs a good team, etc. The only things I kinda disagree with is what you listed for the runes. Magic pen doesn't help very much unless you build a decent amount of it, and knowing that you're a tank before a damage dealer, I prefer Greater Mark of Armor to Greater Mark of Magic Penetration. Also, it's just preference, but I love Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed, especially for his W, Twisted Advance. Overall, very nice build, and your's definitely looks prettier than mine. :P
