Sometimes low play rate champions disappear from statistics websites, so I thought I'd write down the top build for Maokai Support by statistics. Right now, the info for this build is found here: http://current.lolalytics.com/champion/Maokai/Support/

While most Maokai supports suck, the best Maokai supports have a 58% win rate in around Diamond 2. What this probably means is that Maokai support is really only a good champion if you have played a ton of Maokai already. He's not great if you're just a support main that doesn't normally play him or you don't have much practice on the champion.

Spells

Exhaust is alright, and most Maokai supports take it. Ignite is higher win rate. This might be because Maokai support is a very all-in style of champion, so having a bit of extra damage to finish off a kill can really help.
