Well, the whole point is to continually move back and forth setting mushrooms. The whole point is map control, not for killing. I understand what your trying to say, but although AP seems more useful, you can build something with AP as a late game item. And CDR does let you put you down more mushrooms. Blue Buff = Lower Mushroom Spawn Time. Therefore, CDR is more helpful with Teemo's Mushrooms.

I like the idea with the map control and the boots but i would buy ap items, so your mushrooms make more damage and you only have to run to the location where the enemy tapped in a mushroom and kill them by using only one blinddart...
and does cooldown reduction really let you put more mushrooms ? i dont think so...
