I'm sure the AP YI build owns, but the AD master yi build has many flaws.

For starters, by the end of some of the matches you showed in the videos, you are barely starting to build your bloodrazor.

You have no lifesteal until maybe 18-20 minutes into the match and you have no real damage until you get the bloodrazor, which is probably 25+ minutes into the match. I was looking at your stats as AD yi and you have lots of assists. This is most likely because you do not have enough damage to solo anything until more than halfway through the game.

Assists are good gold, but if you had more damage earlier in the game, you'd get more kills which would be more gold.

ok the main reason i registered in here was to give you gratz for your guide!
i tried the ad jungle guide 4 or 5 times and did pretty well!i will prolly re-comment after i try the other two.
I would also like you to explain to me the part "Madred's Bloodrazor is so far superior to Wriggle's Lantern I'm not even going to bother discussing the difference." as other guides recomment to do the opposite (i haven't tried it yet as bloodrazor does the job pretty fine)

AD build looks solid, have yet to try the third build...but I have qualms with an AP Yi build that doesn't include Lich Bane. An AP build + the passive of Lich Bane can, at the end of the build, nearly always kill the target of your AS with the empowered first melee hit, especially if you line up Double Strike with it....and/or the HGB on-use.

Your strat for dancing through enemy lines using Meditate and the Zonya's bubble to "frustrate them" takes backseat to being able to hit 4 ppl for a ****load and essentially 1-shot your target then meditate if need be. A team seeing that happen to them will instantly be on the defensive anyway. Toss a Lich Bane in there for that Zonya's and I'd be upvoting.

Yi is my favorite champion. It's great to see a guide where it's not just "MASTER YI FTW!!!!"

I've always been a little iffy about the tanky dps Yi. He can take alot more damage, but with not having any CC at all unlike Jarvan or Trundle, I feel like you could be just ignored. On the flip side, Yi has naturally high damage, so when you use highlander and go for the carry, your damage could probably put them out of commission while you survive

Hey! I love the guide, its very Thorough and it helps me out alot since im a new Yi User. But i was wondering, I know its not finished and everything, but do you think its possible to put in what Masters you should use? I know they are in the Video's, but its hard to tell what you click, since you click so fast. Its just a simple question lol ^^ But I really like the guide! +1

The AP Yi build is insane, Alpha strike thoroughly destroys people and meditate heals for truck loads, Great builds and awesome skins

i suggest you add lich bane to AP Yi build. sometimes with lich bane you can almost insta-burst down squishies

Hey man, I liked this guide, for me, this is the best one. I want to ask your help, for AP u get 9x21x0 and for AD you get 21x9x0? What are the runes for each build? Where are the off-tank build? Wich item is good to be less squishy if I'm being raped? Or wich item should I get when I'm/my team is doing bad? Can you give me this tips, and some on how to work in teamfights? If you answer me I'll vote +1 :D (Because this guide isn't thaat complete)
