I build slight hybrid for meditate and for some extra damage with you're alpha strike. It's nice to have but you won't be bursting anyone with alpha strike and then healing everything back like you're invincible.

Early laning consist of spaming Q, healing any damage back (past half health), and then running out of mana. But, mid game, Yi is so fast that he can backdoor and get out even when ganked. Run to an unoccupied turret, activate ult and wuju style, and drop that turret like it was nothing. You'll be kind of a support but make sure to watch out for team fights, the fate of the team fight is what determines going to help or a good backdoor. If you know for sure you're team will win the fight, backdoor. If they won't, hurry up over there.
