I just used this guide for Mid lane control / jungling went 40/6/5

this is a really good build but i usally buy long sword and one healt pot instead for cloth armor and 5 healt pot

Great build, worked great for me. Just saying though, as a jungle character I would take the increased monster buff duration rather than the gold per 10 seconds mastery.

+1 for you sir. I have been in love with this build! Although I have been trying to work out the beginning kinks of Yi's squishy-ness without damaging the builds main facet. I'll let you know if I figure it out. :P

The +crit damage runes seem like an odd choice since you really don't have a lot of critical strike chance in your build. Explanation?

I've tried every every Jungle Yi build, and this is without a doubt the best.

The only thing I would suggest if playing with a premade team, is start at blue and have a team mate give you a hand with it, then go wolves, golems, wraiths, Red, and return home to a complete madreds.

By far i find jungling with yi much more efficient and effective than laning. He's also prolly one of the easiest ive found to jungle with. Even faster than WW in some cases. I myself go with the utility masteries rather than the offensive, just because the extra duration on buffs is nice.

Those questioning jungling dont realize how dangerous this makes Yi. Yi is a lategame character due to the amount of money it costs to beef him. Jungling you make a ton more money than laning, specially when its hard for yi to get in those last hits without getting harrassed.

Definatly a +1 for me, but i dont ever really get yoyo's ghostblade, by the time im ready to buy that id rather just go all AP with another blood thirster or Black Hatchet.

I love the build and everything, but I think the process you take to jungle is slower than necessary. Yi can start at blue however i would have to try it with the rune set you suggest with alpha procs. I think without hp quints he will get a little too banged up to handle golem without procs.

If i have to jungle with yi in my premades i use ad per level runes in evrything. I go for wriggles lanterns boots starks fervor and then phantom dancer ending with madreds bloodrazor and an infinity edge. Kills in those premades arent very high due to the overpowerd akali killstealer in my team buti get my fair share of penta and quadra kills.

Best game ended 42/2/18 full items red and baron buff i was critting 900's on casters.
