Master Yi is one of my all time favorite characters due to the fact that he's a hit and run character. You can strike fast and hard and run away extremely quickly. This build will allow you to perform mid-late game ganks that can kill in less then 3 seconds :D.

I have built all attack speed due to the fact that attack speed is crucial on Master Yi especially one you have bloodthirster in your inventory.

Build all attack so that you can hit hard :D.

Start off with Boots and 2 health and 1 mana pots. This may not give you an early game edge but I've tried different builds and this one is much better.

Harass and farm top or bottom lanes until you can purchase Wits End which will give you that mid-game edge you're looking for.

Next you're going to need Phantom Dancer which might take awhile, but trust me it's worth it.

Next you're going to get BloodThirster, which is highly important to Master Yi and his attack speed, definetely worth the wait.


After that either get 2 more Phantom Dancers (Recommended) and a Warmog's Armor.
(optional) You can get Warmog's and a youmouu's ghostblade and a phantom
(optional) get Frozen Mallet instead of Warmog's

Master Yi is not the team fight character. He is specially suited for ganks and 1v1's. Do not join a team fight immediately, rather wait until several players are down to low health and then attack.
