summary for this Guide
I'm a player of the 74 best 3v3 Team in EUW. I'm 14 Years old. I live in Germany, near to Hanover. I play League of Legends since the Fall of 2010 so for quite a lot of time. I was ~1100Elo Season 1, ~1300Elo Season 2, ~Gold 4 Season 3, Plat 2 Preason S3, and Dia 5 Season 4 in SoloQueue. I wasn't that active in the high elo Scene in the last Seasons however I almost always played 3v3 since it got introduced. I used to be around Silver / Gold last Season in 3's however I got to Master this Season since I read a lot of high elo Players on some Websites (Which are outdated now unfortunaly). Since I got as good as I am now with a lot of playing and reading those Guides there I will give my best to do the same , but not outdated so you can get to high Elo as well. This will be my first Guide, so please give me some decent Feedback, I will try to make those Guides as good as I can.
Pros and Cons
|+ Best Peel in 3v3
+ Epic level 2. You almost can't lose
+ Shield blocks a lot of stuff
+ Knock up (if you play Yasuo)
|With his Unbreakable Braum can block every projectil which makes it almost impossible for the enemy to kill your AD Carry. You can set up fights pretty well with Glacial Fissure, because it's a hard CC. You are able to stun both enemys in Top lane so your AD gets out a ton of damage without even taken 1.|
|- His Unbreakable is useless against Champions like
- doesn't sinergize too well with some Bruisers.
- He gets outscaled by
|If you are playing against you should try to pick up another support than since will wreck your AD Carry, because Braum at all is meant to block stuff with his Unbreakable. He won't sinergize with Champions like that good because you need a Gapclosing engage like Zenith Blade. Last but not least Maokai is pretty good against Braum in later stages, because his ultimate is just extremly strong. However this shouldn't stop you from picking Braum.|
General Gameplay in Twisted Treeline
First off: Twisted Treeline is played in a 2Top 1Bot or 1Top 1Jungle 1Bot Meta, not in a 2Bot 1Top. This is a usual Mistake of inexperienced 3v3 players. If you want to pick up Braum you should ban out: Fizz Lissandra and Syndra. First pick either Corki or Lucian and try to get Morgana/Annie/Karma/Lulu and Lucian/Corki with your next two picks. You should prioritize AD Carry and Support with a Braum composition. Push out the lanes early on so you presure both of them. If they play with jungler try to annoy him at his golems when you hit level 2. He almost always is there in 2.30. If they play with Support Meta you should fight them at your level two. Take your unbreakable and q their AD. Your ADC trys to hit him from some distance so he doesnt get engaged. As soon as their Support engages you put on your to stop their comp from dealing damage. You should either get a good bunch of damage or even Firstblood of it. You are almost always stronger than you enemys at level 2 with and / . Now go into their jungle and take the Altar. From that point you should snowball.Do not overstay! Either take a jungle camp and then go back to base or just go back. With your first items you will be able to presure your lane hard. Remember to take jungle camps (prioritize their jungle over yours) and poke them. When you got your level 6 you can try to catch either bot or top and push that turret. Just play it out safely from that moment and you can't lose.
Runes and Masteries
I take those to trade better and to be stronger in the Level 2 / 3 Fight. You will do a lot more Damage with them than without.
I prefer to take the Armor ones so you can pick HP on your Quintessences. You will get more Armor / HP with the Quintessences than with the Seals and since Braum scales with HP I like Armor Seals and Quintessences HP. However it works as fine if you take the HP Seals and HP Quintessences if you just got them.
Those should be pretty clear and standard: Since you aren't playing against an APC with Braum you don't need 9 Greater Glyph of Magic Resist however you will need some flat since you will play against Leona / Thresh / Maokai, so something which does deal Magic Damage. You can take 9 flat or 9 scaling if you don't got the others. It should work just as fine.
Already explained in the Seals section.
Usually you always play with Heal and Exhaust. This is because you don't need flash as Support on this map, since you can't flash over most of the walls. However if you play with an AD Carry who prefers taking Heal over Barrier you can take Exhaust Ignite. !This is not recommended! Try to take the Exhaust Heal Flash Barrier Top Lane.
Your first buy has to be either Ruby Crystal + Relic Shield or Doran's Shield + Relic Shield depends if you are playing against either Thresh and/or Lucian. After you had your first fight you should have an Assist or and Altar or even both. Try to get Targon's Brace and some Health Potion with this Money. When you are back on Lane you should stay for a while, but before you take your lvl 6 fights you should try to grab your Face of the Mountain, so you got this awesome Shield for your ADC/Bruiser. Now you should take a look at their main Damagedealer. If it's AD you should buy a Randuin's Omen, if it is mixed or AP you should grab your Locket of the Iron Solari first. After those two you build Frozen Heart and Banshee's Veil, order is up to you. As boots you should get either Boots of Mobility as soon as possible or Mercury's Treads. You can delay the Mercs a little bit but if you want to take Mobility Boots you rush them.
Skill orderWinter's Bite on Braum. After that, if they don't have many projectiles, you max your Stand Behind Me. If they have at least some projectiles you max your Unbreakable. You always put a point into your ultimate if it is possible.
