This is my first build guide on a champion. I have been playing Kha'Zix since season 3, mostly in mid lane. Kha'Zix used to be quite popular in he mid lane but he started to fall from the meta when he was nerfed. At that time, I was playing in the NA server, but I am now currently playing on the Chinese server because i'm living in China.

- Can snowball extremely well

- Lane sustainability
- Medium tankyness late game
- Good escape
- Good Mobility
- You can adapt easily to the enemies (evolution)

Cons
- Useless if he doesn't snowball
- Can be countered by hard CC
- Squishy early game

At the start of the game, your early game will be quite bad, but your power spike comes at lvl 3 when you have learned all 3 abilities, Q, W, and E. This is when you can poke the enemy with extremely high damage. When the enemy is behind their minions, leap in. This will force the enemy to run towards their turret and away from their minions. When this happens, auto attack to proc your passive, Q, and if they fight back, use your W for a slow and extra health back. This combo works best against ranged champions with no good escapes. After using u your passive, you can run into a bush or run behind your tower to refresh it. You should be able to get a kill if your jungler comes to help. If you are struggling, you can always take a trip to top or bot lane for kills and assists.

Playing Kha'zix in the current meta can be difficult, especially during team fights. During team fights, do not be the first member on your team to dive in, unless you can guarantee a kill. Instead, tell one of your team mates with a good engage to start the fight. The rest of your team should follow up at this point. Your job is to pick off low health enemies. If you do this correctly, the enemies will have to deal with a extremely mobile bug. Assuming that you have done well early game, this should be easy. If you have fallen behind, instead, try and wait for the enemies to make mistakes. When the enemies make mistakes, pick them off.

Kha'Zix has many mechanics that you may not have known about. One of them is that you can cast your Q while flying mid are with your E. This can come in handy for some neat plays. Another thing I would like to point out is that you can cast a reseted E while you are still mid flight. You can do this by jumping over (not on) a low health enemy, and securing the kill with your Q while above them. Then, before you land, activate your E to jump again. This will only work with your E evolved. This trick allows some stylish kills and escapes.
