Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello, Chummy here with an Ahri build!
Ahri is one of my favourite characters because she requires strategy. When I first bought Ahri I loved her, mainly because she is a 9-tailed fox (which reminded me a lot of the anime Naruto). Ever since she first came out ive been trying new builds, some more sucsessful then others mind you but found this one was more effective. I chose two different paths, one with more armour for an bruiser mid, example Talon, and one for just a normal lane. These two builds worked great against the proper mid. You can fool around with the build but these are what I found most acurate.
Essence Theif (Passive): Ahri gains a charge of Essence Theft with each enemy unit hit by any of her spells, with a cap of 3 charges gained per spell cast. Upon reaching 9 charges, Ahri's next spell will have 35% bonus spell vamp.
Orb of Deception (Q): Active: Ahri sends out an orb in a line in front of her and then pulls it back, dealing magic damage on the way out and true damage on the way back.
Fox-Fire (W): Active: Ahri releases three fox-fires to surround her for up to 5 seconds. After a short delay after cast, each flame will target the closest visible enemy unit to itself, prioritizing champions, and deal magic damage to the target.
Charm: Active: Ahri blows a kiss that travels in a line in front of her. The first enemy it hits takes magic damage and is charmed, forcing them to walk harmlessly towards Ahri while being slowed by 50% for the duration.
Spirit Rush: Active: Ahri dashes towards the cursor and fires essence bolts, dealing magic damage to up to 3 visible nearby enemies, prioritizing champions. In the next 10 seconds, Spirit Rush can be cast two additional times before going on cooldown. Each enemy can only be hit once per dash.
Lets start with items!
Early Game: First look who their mid is. If its an AD Bruiser, example: Talon, go Cloth Armour + 5 health pots, or if they are a normal mid, example: Lux, go boots + 4 health pots.
Early/First Back: Try for 2 Doran's Rings and Sorcerer's shoes. Gives you good mana and magic penetration/movement speed. If you are against an AD Bruiser, buy Seeker's Armguard and go on from there.
Mid Game: You want to aim for the items listed (ONLY IF THE MID IS A NORMAL MID, NOT AN AD BRUISER): Sorcerer's Shoes, 2 Doran's Rings, Abyssal Scepter, Deathcap. This will give you a good setup to destroy normal mids.
Late Game: Not many games go this far but if it does by chance, your build should look like this: Sorcerer's Shoes, Abyssal Scepter, Deathcap, Rylai's Crystal Scepter, Liandry's Torment (because it works with Rylai's Crystal Scepter) and finally Zhonya's Hourglass. Now, this being said, you dont have to have this build, you can mess around with it, have fun!
As Ahri your main role in a teamfight is to focus the ADC! Charm them with that kiss <3.
Once you do follow up with a Q, W, R. This should kill the ADC. When you pop your R, dash around the team fight and dodge any cc. Your next focus would be the mid lane, then once they have been destroyed go for the rest. If you see that your ADC is being targeted a lot, then Charm them so you can pick off whoever is focusing them. I would suggest targeting the ADC first.
Your normal combo would be: E > W > Q > R
Escaping Combo (Your getting jumped): R > E > Q > W
