i play soraka mid also but with a other build that is like more of my playstyle...
this build isn't that nice late game and doesn't aprove your health as much as mine but i rly love it. GJ, btw would you like to take a look at my soraka build? i wanna know what you think about it.. rly hope you like it +1!

I use Void Staff in my build too as the last item. It is simply decent AP for a cheap cost, and endgame during the final push, if all you get is once or twice to cast your offensive spells, that's when it's going to count, right?

I haven't had the best luck using her for solo push or mid, but agree that it is worth looking into further.

Good guide, you've got +1, but i've got few questions:

1.) Why you've got void staff? I agree, ap bonus is nice, but armor penetration is unnecessary here. In the middle of team fight you'll be focused on healing/infusing teammates (depends on situation), so you won't have enough time to use your starfall/infuse on enemies except maybe 2-3 times. Soraka is a champion with a quite small amount of money (because she's rarely dealing killing blows and most of time she's focused on healing and don't have time to farm minions). So she must distribute her money wisely. I would suggest items with nice auras, e.g. soul shroud.

2.) Placing Soraka on mid is an idea which should be discussed more. She's not so lvl dependent champion like others, so i suggest leaving mid for someone who'll be a greater threat for enemies when outleveled. Like fiddle.

Anyway, as i said - nice build, i'll propably try it.
