NEWS AND NOTES [6.14]
We may see Miss Fortune as that scary ADC but of course there are times when we want to shake things up; add some challenge and have a good laugh with our friends.
Getting tires of the usual Support champions you got? Got stuck in a Support role because you just pressed fill and queued? Got a Miss Fortune on your champion pool? Then worry no more, because Miss Fortune will make it rain magical bullets to your enemies, setting things up for the *cough* misfortune *cough* that they're gonna get...
If you're doubting MF's ability to take on the arcane side, then hear this stupid poem:
The bounty hunter of the seas
Now comes to hunt with icy breeze
We know that Snowdown's not all year round
But icy magic - Miss Fortune has found
Now she makes it rain -
With hails of bullets with ice;
And makes bullet time
Slow all that's unwise.
If you want some fun and something new,
Then look no more, you've got this guide.
It may be imperfect, but with your little twist
It can be a build you can't resist!
PATCH 6.14 UPDATE
Introduction and Play Style
The Bounty Hunter Miss Fortune has three of her abilities having AP scaling, although these percentages are small compared to the Bonus AD Ratios. However, with proper skills, team set-ups, and a little luck, you are bound to unleash her full potential, being able to destroy enemy squishies with one combo, or set up a make or break a teamfight with your barrage of magical frozen bullets.
Mage Fortune relies heavily on her icy skills, setting the fighting field by combining the slows and DPS of Make it Rain + Bullet Time + Rylai's Crystal Scepter for a crazy few seconds of winter wonderland.
From Patch 6.1
> Love Tap : Good for adding bonus damage for Double Up. Helps, but only a little as she is mostly skill dependent.
> Make it Rain : Ouch! Our main harass gets outdated with the nerf on this season. A hundred points of damage might be Mage Fortune's line between life and death, so we'll continue to monitor the impacts of this change.
Anyways, if you got the right Masteries and Runes, and get enough AP, you can probably clear that minion wave with an E around mid-late game.
Strategy and Itemization
Get Spellthief's Edge and rush Frost Queen's Claim first so you can get Tribute Gold with continuous Make it Rains. You can usually get Claim (average) around 10 minutes into the game.
Next priority will either be:
Harrass/Set route - Rylai's Crystal Scepter to maximize our crowd control.
Quality of Life/Support route - Mikael's Crucible for unlimited mana, anti-CC and heal.
With these items in tow Miss Fortune has increased chances of survival and increased DPS. Use Claim's active effect to check brush, slow chasing enemies, or send them out to slow them before you use Make it Rain. Rylai's further increases the slow from Make it Rain as well as applying frost effects to each wave of your Bullet Time.
Maximize your damage with a Morellonomicon. The CDR will make you able to harass more freely while also applying Grievous Wounds to low-health enemies. If you got Ionian Boots of Lucidity this would max your CDR to 40%.
When facing Juggernauts, a good alternative item is Liandry's Torment.
When your team needs a little pushing, you can also get Banner of Command or a Zz'Rot Portal.
