Since this is a new build i'll keep it short...sorta ;)

ITEMS:
Doran's sheild & a health potion are my first two items because of the health bonus and his skills require a small health, which in the beginning of the game with small health is important.

After that i get the boots (of swiftness) ,so this hunk of metal can move faster, and then start building for Warmog's Armor. This is important to get early to max out the health & health regen from farming minions. After that is Force of Nature because of the health regen % of max health.

After Force of Nature the item selection is a bit more flexible depending on the situation. I like to go with Randuin's Omen then Guardian Angel, or vise verse, kinda doesn't matter. If your facing a WW you might want to pick Thornmail Armor.

At this point you should be close to winning (or losing) and Doran's Shield is basically useless. So sell it and put that health to good use with Atma's Impaler. This item isn't really necessary so is easily interchangeable with another (say... more armor or health?) I've either won (or lost) at this point so yea.

Early Game-play

I love soloing a lane or mid. This is when Morde can really shine. What you should be doing early game is moving around and whenever Siphon of Destruction is ready, nail your enemies with it. Be sure to hit some minions as well so when then hit you back, your shield is drained. Once you hit lvl 6 your enemies should be pretty low on health. So let them push then cast Exhaust, Ignite, & Children of the Grave (in that order) on one. This will get you a nice early kill and depending on the health of the other enemy a nice double kill with the help of your child.

Warning!

I've hear people say that morde is a no skill Champ. To them i ask: Have you played him? Did you suck? have you played vs me with him? :P The key is to get thous early kills so mid-late game it'll take the entire team 10 seconds to kill you (may not seem like alot but trust me...) Also don't get cocky with him, i've won 3v1 before so he can solo, but this makes him a
HUGE!
target if you wonder off by yourself, and they WILL come after you.

So yea that's it for now, enjoy :D
