I have to +1 because of the concept. You have the idea right, you just need a tiny improvement in item selection.

I much prefer the Regrowth + 1 pot start, because rejuv bead doesn't build into anything, and regrowth pendant is more hp/5 for the long run.

You only have 8% cdr, you need at least 30% before blue pot. (1% CDR = 1 Spell pen for math purposes.)

Also, I LOVE that you built a Haunting Guise.

I would pick up Merc Treads myself, but i play super tanky morde :)

Nice build over all!

I've been playing Morde alot lately, and i would say the start up items in the build are an absolute must on this character, the rest of the items can be interchanged with whatever tank items you think best suite the team you're facing. +1

I just started playing Mordekaiser and decided to use this build after trying some of the more popular ones. I honestly don't understand why this isn't rated higher because I've been going 16/0/3 and better, looking at my match history right now I'm 9 out of 10 wins with Morde and the loss was because I went to the bathroom from level 3 to level 7 and coming back towers were down for my team.

I still have amazing games with a similar build to this, the late game can be rough sometimes, but usually you're so fed early game the other team is already too far behind too catch back up.

Well, it dimmed a little since the nerf to Haunting Guise...
I think Sunfire Mordekaiser is the most viable one, but this one works too.

This build is amazing but the title is boring, I bet more people would look at it if it wasn't just "Mordekaiser" :D

EDIT: Tuesday June 01, 2010 is changing a key item of this build, the Haunting Guise. I will update this guide within the next week or two when I have time to test new items for him. I recommend an earlier Wardens Mail or Force of Nature temporarily to solve HP regen issues.

Amazing guide, I used the same build (except for Haunting Guise) in Twisted Treeline and the other team focused everything they could on me and I was still standing with 50% of my HP and they just ran away ^ ^,

This is actually ALOT better then the most rated Mordekaiser guide, trust me, I know! Though I disagree on the items you do not suggest in your build but still agree a little. Spirit Visage could be useful if you have a healer such as Taric or Soraka. You listed the problem with the other items but i'd like to add that Sunfire Capes actually just kills the enemy creeps faster for you and thus making them less efficient for charging up Ironman -> I know, it's the HUGE con about my BBQ but I just roll with it.

I'll have to say +1, and yes I really have used this build before I saw it but nothing to add really. You just made a whole lot of points and Haunting Guise is not that dumb actually. Mordekaiser is a Fighter, yup, my favourite quote ^ ^,
