Modrdekaiser, the Master of Metal
During the most recent winter solstice - when no other night during the year is longer - a being like no other emerged from the forgotten alleyways of Noxus. Standing eight feet tall, and concealed within a razor-sharp armored shell, he came to be known only as Mordekaiser. The nature of what lies beneath his metallic carapace is a popular subject of speculation. Many allege that he is a mortal man with a heart that has hardened to iron. Others insist that he is a dark specimen of the undead. But there some who whisper warnings that he is merely a foreshadowing of something terrible and unprecedented yet to come. Despite the public conjecture and curiosity, none have discovered what lies beneath his alloyed exterior. What is known is this: Mordekaiser arrived unannounced at the Institute one day and, with a rasp that crept ice up the spines of all within earshot, requested to join the League of Legends.
Upon glimpsing his fearful visage, most keep their distance, fortunately unaware that his touch bears a sinister scourge. Those who stumble within his grasp fall victim to incurable maladies. In fact, Mordekaiser seems mystically attuned to sickness, as if it feeds and comprises part of his chilling essence. He now stalks the slums of Noxus, drawn to the plague-ridden and diseased. However, there is something in his clever tactics, something in his noble stance, something in the tone of his unearthly commands that has led many to believe that Mordekaiser is more than just a foot soldier. Some see the distinguishing characteristics of a general. While many have learned to accept the evidence of this unsettling possibility, a lingering question keeps them wary at the witching hour: If Mordekaiser is a general, what nightmarish legion lurks at his command?

Mace of Spades: On next hit, Mordekaiser swings his mace with such force that it echoes out, striking up to three nearby targets, dealing his attack damage plus bonus damage. If the target is alone, the bonus damage is doubled.
Creeping Death: Unleashes a protective cloud of metal shards to surround an ally, increasing their armor and magic resistance, and dealing damage per second to enemies caught in the cloud.
Siphon of Destruction: Mordekaiser deals damage to enemies in a cone-shaped area in front of him. For each unit hit, Mordekaiser’s shield absorbs energy.
Children of the Grave: Mordekaiser curses an enemy, stealing a percent of their life each second. If the target dies while under the effect of the curse, their soul is enslaved and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds. During this time, Mordekaiser gains some of their ability power, attack damage, and health.
Iron Man (passive): 20% of the damage dealt from abilities is converted into a temporary shield, absorbing incoming damage.
Hello fellow Modekaiser players (and others that are reading this guide...), i present you my second guide (my first is a big fail, i think i was drunk when i wrote it...). After more that 80 matches played with him, I made a build witch allowed me to tank whole team, and sometimes even kill them ! (Happened twice ^^)
Anyway, here comes the guide...
I Good and Bad things
1. Great laner.
2. NOT squishy!
3. Good farmer, especially mid-late game.
4. His minion, enslaved soul of the fallen enemy.
5. (MOST IMPORTANT!) His shield.
1. In the beginning you will run out of health pretty fast if you are careless.
2. Complete lack of immobilizing spells/abilities.
3. Low damage output. (If you don't count his ultimate)
II Summoner's spells
Ignite: Ignites a Enemy Unit, dealing 50 damage plus 20 x Level over time to a single target which ignores their magic resistance, reduces the health regeneration and the healing effects gotten by 50%. Use it with CotG and watch your enemy die !
Ghost: Your Champion ignores unit collision and moves 32% faster for 14 seconds. I usually use it to help and ally (99.9% of matches, i carry... -.-), or get away from raging enemies (Yes, even legendary Mordekaiser has to run sometimes...)
I go for the flat health Quintessence runes. They give you a nice small advantage in the beginning.
As for Marks, I go for armor penetration, because you need some extra damage in the beginning, for extra kills. ;)
Magic resist Seals.
IV Champion's Abilities
Mace of Spades: On next hit, Mordekaiser swings his mace with such force that it echoes out, striking up to three nearby targets, dealing his attack damage plus bonus damage. If the target is alone, the bonus damage is doubled. Max out after Siphon.
Creeping Death: Unleashes a protective cloud of metal shards to surround an ally, increasing their armor and magic resistance, and dealing damage per second to enemies caught in the cloud. Pretty useless early game, big cooldown, small benefits. Max out last.
Siphon of Destruction: Mordekaiser deals damage to enemies in a cone-shaped area in front of him. For each unit hit, Mordekaiser’s shield absorbs energy. Precious ability for keeping your shield up. Target as much minions as you can, and then hit with Mace of Spades to harass nearby enemy champions.
Children of the Grave: Mordekaiser curses an enemy, stealing a percent of their life each second. If the target dies while under the effect of the curse, their soul is enslaved and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds. During this time, Mordekaiser gains some of their ability power, attack damage, and health. Very useful spell. If you are low on health, and don't feel like returning to base, just feed of opponent's health. Also pretty good when running for keeping your health at safe level.
V How to Play?
Early game: Get a rejuvenation bead, and 6 health pots. That should keep you in the lane until you are level 6-8 and 1500-2100 gold. Try to finish off enemies with Syphon, and play safe !
Mid game: When you recall, buy Spirit Visage and get Boots of Swiftness. If you have any change left, buy health pots. You should try to keep enemies low on health, and finish them with CotG combined with Ignite.
Late game: So far, you should have got Force of Nature and Randuin's Omen. And maybe Chain Vest. If you are fed a bit so far, you should be pretty hard to kill. Go for the turrets any time you can. You are free to tower dive if you have your shield up. Aim for Thorn Mail and Guardian Angel. Every time I completed my build, I tanked and killed their whole team (alone).
The reason I don't get any health item is simple. YOUR SHIELD ! Imagine this: You have approx 5k health. And someone gets Madred's Bloodrazors. They will tear your shield in one hit ! BUT, with armor and magic resist, your shield is pretty useful.
For example: I am on top. Alone. At their inhibitor turret. Sion and Soraka gank me. My whole team is dead. I fight Sion, and Soraka keeps healing him. You would think things are looking bad for me. But no, I survived with only 300 health points missing, my teammates came and we, of course, won.
Another thing Mord lacks is ability to make enemies attack him. They go for squishier supports, and then they kill you. With this build, you will have 2258 healths. That makes them think you are a fail tank, and target you first. Ha, ha, they failed !
This is my contribution to the League of Legends community, in hope I won't see anymore noobs. (That wasn't meant as an insult, so don't flame)
