Abilities

Morgana gains 15-35% Spell Vamp.

Hmm... one of the best passive abilities in the game, with this one you can solo lane without problems.


Morgana releases a sphere of dark magic. Upon contact with an enemy unit, the sphere will deal magic damage and force the unit to the ground for a period of time.

Snare... and great damage, you can ''catch'' and enemy when he is out of range(not a lot)


Infects an area with desecrated soil, causing enemy units who stand on the location to take continual damage.

I Love This Spell, heal, harass, debuff decreasing enemies magic resistance and great farming tool. With this you can even push Mordekaiser, 3 hits and wave of minions disappear. (put it between caster minion and melee minion)


Places a protective barrier around an allied champion, absorbing magical damage until penetrated or the shield dissipates.

They nerf this spell, but you can still block stuns, slows, silences... any Crowd Control effect, with this you are nearby ungankable.


Latches chains of energy onto nearby enemy champions, dealing initial damage to them and slowing their move speed by 20%, and then echoing the pain 4 seconds later and stunning them if they remain close to Morgana.

One of the best ultimates in game, slow than stun and great damage. Use it whenever you want, they (riot ;'() enlarge cooldown but I use it in the same way as before updeat. In lane phase as a nuke, in TeamFights phase at the start of team fight.


Summoner's Spells

Usefull



Enemy push our tower? you can teleport to it and def. Our team push tower? you can help them in 4,5s. Need to withdrow? feel free to do it, in ~6s you're back.

I dont know why, but always enemy run away with ~50hp - Ignite finish this lucker. It's also great counter vs heal (mundo, taric, heal :)).

Good replacement for teleport, if you think that going back to the base without any wastes isnt really necessary take it instead of teleport.


Neutral



Its great spell but i think that not for morgana, you have slow from ult, its enough. Dmg decreasing isnt really bad but you are nearby semi-tank..

not really usefull, probably you are faster than your Q with this. :>

I think that its good only for a first blood, this spell have very long cd + in late game this heal = one hit from someone

Sometime ago i use it but now I don't think it's a good spell, in late game phase it's simply useless.

I just left it for supports...

Runes

Magic penetration for... magic penetration ^^

Cooldown reduction... Morgana have looong cooldowns so it's good choice

Hp per lvl seals.. why no flat? because you get a lot more hp with leveling runes

Flat health quintessences.. why no leveling?? because you are more tough at start of the game.


Builds

Balanced Build


than change doran's ring for

This build contains balanced dmg and survivability, At start of the game buy Doran's ring, if you have to back early and you dont have 1100gold for sorcerer's shoes or if you want to gank/kill enemy on mid buy 2nd doran's ring. Your next item should be Catalyst the protector, than from it Rod of Ages, now you have nice amount of hp, mana and ap. now you have 3 ways to go. First: if enemy is weak or he dont do dmg but is very tough just buy Rabadon's Deathcape
Second: if you play vs mal, veigar, LeBlanc... generaly crazy magic dmg dealer buy Abyssal Scepter. Third: if your team feed ashe or other ad dmg deaeler or teamfights starts buy Zhonya's Hourglass. Next just follow the above instructions.
Here in late game you dont have mana regen but that amount of mana that you have is enough for teamfight so its good... if you need mana just get a blue buff... in early you have doran's rings...


Aggresive Build





I use it only when im the only ap champion in the team, with this build you have to play more carefully, you're not semi-tank ;P. In this buils Zhonya's Hourglass is must-have cause your ult work like aoe taunt, ''look, she used ult! kill her, fast!".


Situational Items

it gives you mana regen, cd reduction, nice ap boost but still i cant find a place for it :(
anyway its Great item.

Great counter for high hp enemy, for example vlad... almost always he have inanse amount of health and no magic resist.

you have to go to the center of the teamfight to use your ult correctly, and morgana is often focused so if you have really good tank its great item for you because your ult work when you are resurrected by Guardian Angel

It have GREAT aura, especially usefull if you are in heavy ap team


Farming

Put your between Melee minion and Caster minion.
VERY important, you have weak mana regen so dont spam spells!, start using spells at 3lv of your tormented soil, at 3lv you can farm minions nice and passive really start working.


Team Fight

Teamfight should looks that: tank initiate teamfight, you follow him and when you are in the center of the teamfight use ult and put tormented soil on the ground.
Chasing: left your for chasing. Also is usefull because when you place it on the ground it deal dmg instantly so if enemy have <100hp and you cant catch him with your q just place Tormented Soil under him.

Dont forget to put black shield on your carry :]


Pros / Cons

Game


Pros:
-Morgana is Great farmer
-Her ultimate can change result of the teamfight
-She is nearby ungankable
-Can solo without problems
Cons:
-Enemy like to focus on Morgana :/

General


Pros:
-with this build you are nice dmg dealer in early and mid game and in late game you're great support
Cons:
-this build is very expensive
