Here's an overall of what you'll see in this guide: How to deal some SERIOUS damage with Morgana. You'll be able to kill tanky Champs, such as Cho'gath, Maokai, and even someone like Garen after he's been fed. This works EXCELLENTLY for when you're fighting champs like Yi with exceptionally high attack speed and life steal. You'll take 'em out in a breeze with this handy dandy little guide.
This varies a little bit depending on the game. Obviously get Black Shield earlier than noted here if you're versing more of a spell caster team. Make minor changes such as that as you go along and you'll do wonders.
This, like the above two, can very depending on your play-style. If you'd rather catch people, substitute Teleport out for Flash or Ghost. Keep Clarity however. You'll quickly run out of mana and is VERY helpful for getting those escaping champs.
On the offense tree, nothing later than Archaic Knowledge is even remotely viable. Just don't do it. There is one mastery, however, that I just threw in because I needed to put that point somewhere: Greed, for one. Isn't all THAT useful, but is somewhat helpful, this one can definitely be traded out for whatever else you may find more suitable to your play-style. You want to maximize your mana/regen without taking up item slots, so this is where you do it. The points in CDR are exceedingly helpful, because you will be using Clarity quite often in collaboration with your mana needs, as they will be great.
Remember to be a team player and cast Black Shield on your allies as well. Using Dark binding to help allies escape, not just yourself, is also a key move some people may forget about. A combo of these two, with Tormented Soil, can get you away from any fight, even people like Yi, or Olaf, who can't be slowed/disabled. Also, because tormented soil reduces their Magic Resistance per second, be sure to cast your ultimate RIGHT when your bind finishes for some quick kills/assists. You'll find escaping or chasing VERY easy and overall you'll be an irreplaceable asset to your team.
Creeping / Jungling
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY: DO NOT JUNGLE!!!! If you're going to however, be sure you get the Hextech Revolver first, as it will greatly increase your survivability. Also, upgrading Tormented Soil instead of Dark Binding or Black Shield would be FAR better for this. I do not suggest it, but it is an option for those of you who prefer it.
Pros / Cons
-Insane amount of Spell Vamp
-You'll definitely be the highest damage dealing person on your team.
-Fantastic at Support.
-Great in team fights
-High Priority for opposing team
-HIGHLY susceptible to ganks
This build makes you an EXCELLENT farmer, and because of this, you gain gold pretty quickly. Use tormented soil on minions VERY often. I would suggest using it on the Caster Minions in the back.
Overall, you'll be able to regenerate life VERY quickly, kill/assist in killing enemy Champs in a HUGE way, as well as helping escape. You may be a high priority, but you'll also be difficult to kill due to your high damage. You'll send enemy champs packing before they get anywhere near you.
