Note: this is a 3vs3 guide, but may be used as 5vs5 if tweaked.
This build is based on critical damage and movement speed.
Infected clever: this is one of your most vital skills. it can hit 300-500 depending on your opponent and is your main harassment move.
Burning agony: i don't rely on this skill as much, i usually put it on in a chase because of it's effects to reduce CC and the additional 100 magic damage output isn't bad.
Masochism: this is basically your ace. when completely leveled up this skill gives you +100 damage for 5 seconds. this would be equal to 2 B.F swords in damage. always use it right as your go to attack your target.
Sadism: this skill is very important, use it when you need to heal or if you are about to fight/gank. it heals you for 50% of your hp and gives you up to 35% movement speed, which is very handy.
Early game: early game you should take top. it's most important that you use your infected clever to harass your opponent as much as possible. remember though, you want to make your clever hit right on the dot, otherwise you'll be wasting 30-60 hp every throw. once you have your greaves and have harassed your opponent hp 2/3-1/2 down, you should go in for the kill. you will have your ghost, exhaust, and possibly your ult ready which will give you massive movement speed + your critical hits. don't forget to use masochism as it is your ace. by this time you should be getting the hang of mundo and should be feeding yourself off the opposing champions.
Mid game: By this time you should have your zeal, maybe even dancers. you will have extremely fast movement speed with these + your ult and ghost. you should begin ganking bot. ALWAYS USE MASOCHISM AS YOU GO INTO A FIGHT and always use cleavers in your fight to max out your damage. be sure you make your team aware of the gank or it may end up very badly. always kill the most squishy character first because he will fall fast and he is usually the one to do the most damage.
Late game: for me i normally don't get to late game because once i get infinty edge i am hitting critical 500-900s and it's game over for the other team. but if by chance you are late game, you are probably having trouble. whether it is too much CC, or just too much damage, there are alternatives. you can buy a banshees veil for reduced CC effects and magic resist, or you can go with a thornmail if they have heavy dps/ad characters. if you are still having trouble, get a warmog and the added hp should help you.
BOOTS: basically any boots except for sorcerer's shoes will work, but i tend to stick to greaves.
ITEM 2: i usually go with phantom dancers. these are helpful early game because of their movement speed and atk speed + critical bonuses.
ITEM 3: i usually use an infinity edge. this weapon was made just to go with dancers, they couldn't be more perfect for each other. usually by the time you get this, the other team is ready to surrender.
ITEM 4: i use a bloodthirster for the 4th item because my mid/late game everyone will be outputting a lot more damage and you will need the life steal to survive it.
ITEMS 5 and 6: items 5 and 6 are usually based on whether the team has a lot of CC, or a lot of damage output. i usually use a banshees veil for CC and magic resist and for physical damage i would go with a thornmail. Although if you are doing very well and have not fed the other team much, i would just go with a last whisperer for penetration, and a frozen mallet for slows/hp.
the runes will benefit you greatly, especially early game when your hitting critical every few seconds/ the greater quintessence of swiftness is also important because you want as much movement speed as you can get.
**SIDE NOTE** being able to hit high is nice. but for me the real deal is movement speed. being able to run 468 normally is pretty nice. using your ult and your ghost make escape almost impossible for your victim aswell as making a good getaway for you. movement speed and critical damage is a very good, yet lethal combo. it makes it so that no matter what your opponent will NEVER escape.
