Tiger udyr does awesome damage and is fun to play but his survivability isnt the greatest. This is my first build and i may go more in depth at a later time. im no pro or high elo player, just another silver scrub so yeah, i wouldn't recommend using this competitively but its fun in normal's. so yeah enjoy.

the runes i use are just standard ad runes, im not really sure on what the ideal runes are but these suffice. attack speed runes may be helpful but its up to you to find out.

Damage reds,
Armor Yellows,
Mag res per level blues,
nothing special.

These are the masteries i use on Udyr. once again pretty standard ad runes and masteries.

Im still new to tiger udyr so these items might not be the absolute best for tiger udyr but they have worked really well for me so far. the items i choose to use are from a mixture of experimenting, watching streamers/youtubers and reading other guides. so yeah here they are:

Start Items


Pretty standard jungle start. dorans blade start can work too.

First Back


usually after i do a full clear i like to go for an early gank and try and pick up 1 or 2 kills. if you do this you will easily have enough for these items first b. the dorans with turtle stance helps you stay in the jungle for ever and allows you to deal some serious early damage.

Core


You really wanna rush the Trinity as soon as possible so just decide at the time whether or not you want the Lantern/ Boots of Mobility early or just go straight to Trinity. i usually don't build a Lantern just go straight for boots tri but the lantern can be really useful especially if you are going to be farming a lot. i usually start roaming with Mob boots and don't end up needing to buy the lantern. you are going to be selling it off eventually anyway so its up to you whether you want it.

Late Game


You are going to want to sell of that Lantern and eventually the Dorans Blades as you need the room. The order i listed the items is how i usually build but you may want to change the purchase order a bit depending on the match. this build doesn't have much survivability other than a bit of life steal and a bit of health so feel free to swap out the BOTRK for more defensive items. If you are having trouble staying on your enemies (which you shouldn't being udyr) feel free to swap out the Frozen Heart for a Frozen Mallet.


Situational\Experimental items

Feel Free to play around with these items to find what works well for you and your playstyle.
If you feel like you are lacking damage or want more lifesteal then the bloodthirster might just be the item for you.
The Frozen mallet is good if you feel like you lack a bit of hp and want that slow to help you stick to people like flies to cow ****.
Pick up the Warmogs if you feel too squishy.
I have never tried the Black Cleaver on udyr so i dont know how it wpould go down but hey, if you feel adventerous give it a go.
