Introduction

My first guide ever so all suggestions are welcomed!

The way it works is you start off at the specters then move to the duo golems. Pop in and out of lanes killing minions when you can without interrupting your teammate in that lane (unless its top or bot lane that only has 1). When you get wriggler's lantern start going for the lizard shaman.

Now time to start effectively ganking. I personally just stay near the bot since its easier to see them coming and flank them. Careful though when there's more than 1 there. As the match progresses on don't go looking for kills. Stick to staying in the jungle until someone is going down one of the lanes near you.

I will be going into more detail later in this guide but this opening should let you know if you want to decide to bother reading more or not. :)

Spells

Ignite

I find to very effective especially when its 2 on 1 and you know you're going to die... could take one of them with you

Smite

This spell is essential for any jungler. Never leave home without it!

Flash

I havent used it but i can imagine its extremely effective especially before you get a CC or the red buff.

Note able Nominations for spells to use.

Exhaust

It works well for an early CC and debuff.

Ghost

Good for that burst of speed to get the last hit in or to run away in an emergency.

The rest of the spells I don't find to have any real use for a Shyvana jungler, but feel free to try them out.

Pros / Cons

Pro's:

Great Damage
Good Attack Speed
Good Movement Speed
Self sustained healing
Extremely effective jungler

Con's:

Semi-rough early game
No natural CC so Red buff is essential until late
Takes some work to get used too

Creeping / Jungling

As I said in the Introduction at the top, Start with the specters then work on the golems. Save your smite for the bigger golem since its cooldown is fairly quick. After the golems are dead start popping in and out of the nearby lane killing the minions for the extra gold until the neutral monsters respawn. If you see an opening for a good gank, take it! early on it will be rare to get a good chance early on.

Around lvl 5 or 6 is when you should start going for the red buff. Once you get the red buff your ganking potential goes way up now that you have a CC. By this time if you aren't ganking you should be pushing into their side of the neutral spawns and taking the ones you can so they cant have them either. I grab the blue buff if no teammates are around the enemy can't get it either.

After about lvl 11 maybe 12 if you have been getting a lot of gold, start for the dragon. Becareful of being ganked since you will be week after fighting him. If you haven't gotten a lot of gold by lvl 12, wait until lvl 14 or so before attempting the dragon.

By the time you reached lvl 16 you should have enough gold to have most of your late game gear and can start hunting players caught with their pants down... so to speak lol. One on one late game most champions wont stand a chance especially if you catch them on your team's side of the map.
