i think you missed the off-tank concept (off suports and off carries doesn't exist imho, that would be someonne dealing some damage and usefull for the team, basically anyone)
What players usually call Off-tank is an champ who is basically used to go in the teamfight and survive long enough to kill the adverse carry, but that does'nt have the cc to tank, or a possible tank that ca choose to deal more damage but will not be the team's tank.
ie: olaf, with only a slow, will be a bad tank.Give him only survivability, the annemy team will ignore him, and he'll be nearly useless. But give him damages and survivability, and he will be usefull.
(olaf is not the best example, but the only one i could think about now)

Kayle with this build is much more of an hybrid carry.

I did vote you down. I can agree with many things what u have said but saying that the ultimate is for "life saving" is just wrong. Ulti is for KILL. U must use it to ensure kills for you or for your team mates depends on Your role.
