Introduction

As always with every new champion that is released there is a slew of new guides from all players trying to give advice on how to play, I do not claim to have any special insite into the mechanics of Ahri nor do I claim to have the best guide out there, this is only a (hoply) little help to anyone looking to have fun with Ahri and not have to worry about what build they want to go and delaying farming to think about it. (IDk about you but I often Alt-Tab out of the game to see what items to buy when using a new champion) So I hope you find this guide slightly useful if not oh well. =)

Runes

Greater Mark of insight


This is tipical for most mage Champions, giving them a nice little boost in magic penatraion and the extra damage for early lane domination.

Greater Seal Of Potency


This serves the same end effect as the mark Of Insight, giving you domination in early lane and a little more Ap come late game.

Greater Glyph Of Focus


As you can see from the item buid my play style of Ahri revolves around Cooldown, Ahri has a defult fast c/d on her ult and in gereral on her abilities. The purpose of these is to give you constant damage and help out in team fights alot more, as her Charm can pull ememies away from wounded team mates, her Fire-fox hits 3 times and Orb passes through multipla fows.

Masteries

Offence


Ahri's masteries are quite simple, Abliliy power, magic penatraion and overall damage for her offence.

Utility


While mana regen and longer buffs in utility (Runic Affinty for blue buff, decraseing her c/d even more)

Items

As For items they are built around two aspects; Ablility Power and Cooldown Reduction. In my play style this allows Ahri to go toe-toe with the highest damage dealers in a match shooting out deacent damage at a high rate.

The most noteable item in this list is "Nashor's Tooth" as Ahri's dps with her basic isn't that high this might be a questionable choice, but I take it because it has the highest c/d stat for items; However Frozen Heart would be the next best alternitive if you're being focused alot or you consider it more of a benefit. This is one of the points where your situation determins your next item.

Skill Sequence

Quite simple again, take her Q first giving you good damage for the first few levels and max it stright away. Then on level 2 grab Charm to real you emimies in and help your jungler gank, most probably an instant kill if you get a good posioion; and on level 4 take Fox-Fire to start a good farm (Max this last)

Summoner Spells

Clairvoyance


Given that Ahri is not a support you may wounder why I take CV, well it's mostly beacuse you dont want to get ganked, wards can throw you off your item build and given Ahri's ult you can jump walls and get a nice kill if you cv and find a ememie. I also like just having it to cheak spots on the map where I want to go but know it's too dangerous. Over all It's just a good spell to have no matter what your Champion.

Ghost


Given Ahri's Fast C/d with this build on her ult, I'd rather not take Flash. So I grab Ghost instead, It helps a lot more than flash would in many situations (Running to turrets under attack by large minion waves, trying to get into a team fight which began with out you or even landing Charm on an enemy) I also take ghost to make the most out of my masteries so I can have 1 less point spent. (Given that cv and ghost are in the same perk)

PROs
Very Fast C/D
Good burst damage
Adapt at ganking
Strong early and late game
Generally isn't the target of focus

CONs
If focused can be brought down quickly
Most important skills are skill shots
Slow movement speed
Can use mana quickly
Has trouble last hitting with team mates such as Master Yi, Tryndamere, Volibear Etc.
