Chapter 1

The enigmatic creature known as Nasus came to the League from a faraway world, and served as part of a vast and learned desert empire. There he was a respected and enlightened individual, having been made the Keeper of the Great Library. However, he was also part of a race of animalistic creatures that served as the rulers and protectors of the people. War was never more than a breath away, as others of his kind craved to enslave the people and claim totalitarian sovereignty. In the midst of a heated battle, just as Nasus was about to slay his treacherous brother Renekhton, he was summoned to Runeterra. It didn't take much to convince him that Champions were needed to fight against the injustice here and he took up a place in the League of Legends. These days, he is the Keeper of the Sands, feeling most at home in the crumbling ruins of the Shurima Desert..

Introduction
Welcome to my Nasus dps build. I have seen countless people fail as Nasus, but this build has always worked for me. I have no recent games as Nasus, but I will have screenshots soon.

Pros
5 sec helpful slow & atk speed debuff
a well farmed SS can be a game changer
very flexible character with multiple build choices
has an aoe armor reduction that also does dps
great aoe farming
great passive

Cons
fragile early game
spirt fire can be avoided
mana hungry early game
gets queue dodged often

Abilities
Soul Eater(Innate): Nasus drains his foe's spiritual energy, giving him a natural 10 / 15 / 20% lifesteal. The lifesteal value increases at levels 6 and 11.
Ability Description Levelling up
Siphoning Strike(Active): Nasus's next attack will deal additional damage. Siphoning Strike permanently gains 3 damage whenever it kills an enemy. Throughout the entire game focus on last hitting creeps with Siphoning strike, this will only make you stronger. Cooldown: 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 / 4 seconds

Cost: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 Mana

Extra Damage: 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 / 110
Wither(Active): Nasus ages his target, slowing their movement and attack speed by 35% and reducing it further each second for 5 seconds. Wither basically immobilizes any dps character. Use this ability in team fights to make that 5v5 into a 5v4 by taking their dps carry out of the fight. As the team fight disperses you can use this ability to either help your team members or yourself escape, or chase down any fleeing opponents.

* Cooldown: 15 seconds
* Cost: 100 Mana
* Range: 700

Extra Slow: 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 / 15 %
Spirit Fire(Active): After a brief delay (0.5 sec cast, 0.5 delay), the target area becomes desecrated. Enemies in the area have their armor reduced for 7 seconds and are dealt magic damage each second for 6 seconds. Use Spirit Fire to farm large waves of creeps quickly, or in team fights place Spirit Fire at the back edge of the other team, this is where most carries stand, making them easier to kill, also reducing all that stand in the AoE armor will be reduced by 40.

* Cooldown: 12 seconds
* Range: 650
* Area of Effect: 400 (estimate)

Cost: 70 / 85 / 100 / 115 / 130 Mana

Armor Reduction: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40

Magic Damage Per Second: 20 / 34 / 48 / 62 / 76 (+0.2 per Ability Power)
Fury of the Sands(Active): Nasus becomes empowered in the sandstorm for 15 seconds, gaining health. While the storm rages, he drains the health of nearby enemies each second (240 damage max per second) and converts it into bonus attack damage.

* Cooldown: 120 seconds
* Cost: 150 Mana
* Area of Effect:

Magic Damage: 3 / 4 / 5 % (+0.01% per Ability Power) of max health

Health Gained: 300 / 450 / 60

Items
Starting off with a Vampiric Scepter is an amazing way to never leave your lane until you want to. The Vampiric Scepter with Nasus' passive is astonishing.. 22% lifesteal at level 1.

Black Cleaver , Stark's Fervor , and Spirit Fire should reduce any enemy's(except for some tanks) armor below 0.

Sheen , like poppy, is Nasus' best friend. Sheen is activated by Nasus using his abilities.. Siphoning Strike and Sheen together make a powerful duo.

Instead of the black cleaver you may want some more survivability; facing against heavy casters i would choose Force of Nature, and for heavy physical damagers i would choose either randuin's, thornmail, or frozen heart, all of which are viable options.
