This is the build I use when I play Nasus as DPS.

Abilities

Soul Eater is Nasus passive.

Siphoning Strike is my starting ability so I can start stacking it up as soon as possible.

Wither is according to me Nasus most useful ability. Without it, it is almost impossible to get a kill on for example range champions. You try to chase them and they just run, cast a spell, run, cast a spell etc. Thats why you should pick this ability at least on level 3.

Spirit Fire is a great farming ability, thats why you should buy Sheen early in the game because you need both mana and AP to be able to stay in your lane and get a bigger amount of gold.

Now to his ulti Fury of the Sands. Lets paint up a Scenario: You are Fighting against another champion 1on1 and he has a little more HP than you. You start running and he follows, You pop your ulti turn around, slow him, and kill him. A experienced player will probably not take that risk, but you might get lucky.

Items

I like to start with a Sapphire Crystal and 2 Health Potions to be able to stay in my lane for a longer time. Then I buy boots, and after that I start to go for Trinity Force.
Why begin with Trinity Force?
Well, according to me, Nasus is a little bit too squishy in early game, and very Mana dependent. with Trinity Force I get Health, Mana, AP, AD, Attack Speed, Crit Chance
and Movement Speed. Thats a pretty sweet deal, Dont you think ;P.
After that you just buy a lot of AD and Crit.

Summoner Spells

For Summoner Spells I use Ghost and Clarity which seems to work for me, but if you dont like it its very easy to change :P

Early Game
My advice is to play safe, farm with Spirit Fire and stack up your Siphoning Strike by last hitting minions and monsters with it.

Mid Game
As soon as you have bought Trinity Force you can begin to play more aggressive, but dont be too hot headed

Late Game
If you have been fed during the game you can start to pick fights. You will be like a bully on a school yard.

Pros
[*] Great abilities
[*] Invincible if hes fed
[*] Can go both Tank and DPS

Cons

[*] Squishy in Early game
[*] Hard to play against casters
[*] Not fun to play when your team sucks

Well thats about it.
Hope you like the build and if you have'nt played Nasus I think you should give him a chance.
