Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Early game-late game
Basically just try farming your ss on last hits and building the damage unless you and your lane partner feel you can kill your lane. Keep farming until your wormogs if your lane is doing well. get your boots and play smartly. Following this item build is what helps but how you play is important. Nasus is also a great solo lane with his spirit of fire. When soloing make sure to prioritize leveling this and 1 rank in ss and wither because you still want those last hits.
Nasus is one of the best team changing tanks with his ultimate just like ammumu. If played well your team will come out on top, of course a team is what makes nasus good. So if you have a **** team then nothing can be done but this build will make you come out on top
Rune choices are up to you. Health quintessence are obvious choices and can be switched out seeing as you will be starting out with a ruby crystal. All the runes mentioned are for late game except for the magic resist per level glyphs seeing as how it does not increase like your armor.
Pretty self explanatory. Don't want offense seeing as you aren't a carry and we prefer that extra health from defense early game. Don't go down the whole tree mainly because ardor is useless for nasus thus saving those points for utility gives us a better advantage. You can change the 3 points in reduced time to the health and mana regeneration but it isn't that great believe it or not.
I start off with ruby crystal for that extra health early game instead of a doran's shield because as you will see in game, early wormogs is godly as nasus and will help out so much. The reason i do not get sheen is mainly because you are going to be a tank, not a dps... I am not stating sheen is bad but i prefer having exponential health early on than more dmg to my sheen. We will eventually build it up though of course but that wont be until later on. Boots are ninja tabi and can be switch to mercury treads if you their team has a large amount of ap and cc. The third item is either atma's or banshee's veil. If you are seeing a more heavy ap team or are taking a lot of magic damage banshees, if not then atma's it will make you hurt later on and provides a good amount of armor and dmg. the item you didnt take is next meaning banshee's veil. The fifth item and sixth is either trinity force if you aren't having trouble surviving and need more oomf to your attacks or guardin angel/sunfire cape depending if you are being killed by magic then guardian angel or armor (sunfire/thornmail) the item you didn't take before is next (always get trinity force in the fifth or 6th position)
