Welcome!

The Intro

Hello and welcome to my Nasus jungle guide, everything will be explained as you read, I hope to make this as in-depth as I can, so please read everything if you would like to get into the mind of a Nasus jungler. This guide will also help those who see a Nasus in the jungle and learn how to shut him down.

Runes

Greater Mark of Armor Penetration

I take 6 of these because they provide a good base amount of armor penetration to go along with your damage. Also because the only other armor penetration you normally build is either or .

and

Three of both of these provide you with a good amount of early game damage along with a much faster clear time.

Both of these are great options. I tend to like to gank mid early to start the APC snowballing so the Flat MR negates more damage early on then the Scaling ones.

Masteries

Offense
[*] Sorcery is a much better mastery than for Nasus in my opinion. The extra 4% attack speed is nice for a lot of Junglers like Warwick or Jarvan, but Nasus really only Auto-Attacks when his is on CD.
[*] The Damage per-level is nice. While not Major, it gives some better late game presence.
[*] This is a great Mastery, 8% Armor penetration may not seem like a lot, but this will help your Q do more damage to champions, since you spirit fire makes monsters have NEGATIVE armor, making them take increased damage from physical attacks.
