My items really just depend on my enemy top, I start off with a vampiric obviously for the massive life steal at level 1. I can build tanky or straight dps for whatever is needed.

For tank, I generally build high armor first cause most AD's solo top, when buying items I normally switch back and forth between getting armor and magic resist, focusing on being able to tank towers while my partners take out the most fed enemies.
