regen? Spirit visage if for champions who already have healing abilities. For basic regeneration, use Force of Nature

Force of Nature adds no health, I already have magic resists from Mercury's Treads and Banshee's Veil and I'm not Galio so I'm not trying to tank MR, so I wondered which item would help me the most... I decided on Spirit Visage because it grants a decent health bonus, the little bit of MR that I felt that I needed in order to be at a comfortable level, and I have a ton of regen from both Randuin's Omen and Shurelya's Battlesong, and Spirit Visage boosts the regen on those by 15%. I get everything that I want out of this item, and its cheap, and I can get it early.

As for "spirit visage is only for characters who already have life steal"... I'm afraid I can't wrap my head around that logic, since "this item is only for characters who have life steal" failed to make it into the item's description. I guess I missed the memo where characters can only use certain items... is that a new patch?

I've updated the runes and masteries to reflect the changes which have been suggested, I've tried it, and it works well. Still need to try jungling with it, and I totally intend on posting the original rune and mastery build as an alternate build. I find that with 9-21-0 and mixed runes, I fail against other health tanks, but can take pretty much anyone else on.

I also discovered that I have a REALLY interesting time against Blitzcrank, tanked up with mana.

Helloz? Nautilus has been released! update the guide, don't leave that gangplank lol...

Also, since you're jungling, you might want to add a possible route, maybe. Or you can just refer to a guide on jungle routes (not that I know of one lol)

+1ed :)

And as for the runes, I've found 9-21-0 seems to be working a lot better. I did my 0-30-0 just as a safe bet for exploring a new tank.

Davion, thanks for the tips, man, I gotta give that a shot now. As for making it fancy, I know how, I'm actually pretty good at it. I just sat down and threw this all together because I was having so much fun with Nautilus, I wanted to get back to playing him.

I'll patch it up later :)

Hey savior... go someplace where someone cares about your negativity.

As I said in my guide, its too early to make a definitive guide. It's not meant to be one. So if you disgaree with what I wrote, get off your lazy downvoting *** and go write your own.

I chose ignite because I find myself having a hard time taking on anyone with life leech. Sorry I didn't cater to your needs by expressing that in my guide. I posted this for the community. You can think whatever you like, and you can think it far away from me.

For the jungling part: try to get some armour runes, if you have like 60 armour at level 1 it should be possible even while starting with Philosopher's Stone and a Health Potion also get the Butcher Talent in the offensive tree when jungling, and Bladed Armor in defense.

If you start with Cloth Armor and 5x Health Potion you can rush philly after that and keep the Cloth Armor for Ninja Tabi

Also as you mentioned the guide is pretty much nothing but text, try to get some fancy looking **** into the guide and it will look much cooler, here is a guide to how if you're not quite the expert at coding: http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/making-a-guide-101506

Hope it helps, fine guide, good luck! :)

This guide is not very good. First of all nautilus is a tank, and should not have ignite. But even if that is my own oppinion, the fact that you put 30 points into defense is an issue for me. By keeping all your points in one tree u obtain a lot of useless things that Nautilus wont use effectively, and u sacrifice many other positive things like taking % of respawn time in the utility tree.

Not only this, but if you really cared for a nautilus build, choosing gangplank instead of waiting for him to be fully released just bugs me by saying that you really just wanted to be a first poster. but thats IMHO

And another thing about your item build. You are getting WAY to much HP, you need to get more MR and armor or else you might look scary, but an AD carry can easily take you down.
