I see you have updated your guide but from personal experience i think the 9/21/0 masteries worked better to help improve katarina's early squishiness and the Frozen Mallet was definitely a nice addition. Unfortunately my play style does no match with the 21/9/0 masteries. Is there anyway you would be able to send a screenshot of the 9/21/0 masteries, Keep up the good work

Although I really appretiate the freshness of your build and the try to improve the way of how Katarina is played, I want to ask some questions before saying this is a good/bad idea, and then, vote it.

So:

1) Will Kat's ultimate get any benefict from The Bloodthirster?? I dont think so, since it does magical dmg, and the only thing that can sustain you alive is the spell vamp.

2) Would it be better for your build to get Will of the Ancients?? I kno this is AD, but it isnt, it is an hybrid build mainly focussed in leaching life while doing dmg, and in that way, I feel that it should be considered and then added to alternative items.

3) Since this build isnt AD purely, mostly hybrid AD - AP, have you considered Guinsoo's Rageblade?? For a cheap 2k cost you will get good stats, in either AD and AP.

4) Although I got your point about cdr in the boots (I often grabb them), I have to say that you should really go for mpen as marks. I get the point in getting AD, still I should do numbers to see if it is better to invest the runes in mpen.

Overall the text and guide is well formatted and builded, but just the content doesnt fit very well with my point of view.

Hexdrinker is a good item on katarina too! I use it when i am against high burst dmg on mid, like LB, Gragas, Veigar and Fizz :)
