Introduction

Oh ****. I think I made this public on accident. Whatever. It isn't close to being finished.

This guide is NOT a guide for surefire wins. I'm not even going to say you'll win most of the time. Half the time your team'll call you a troll, cry about how you don't help the team, and blame you for just about everything. The other half they'll die laughing at the ridiculous stuff you manage to pull off. This is a build for fun, winning is just icing on the cake.

The focus of this build is something called nesting. Nesting is the act of placing nests, or tight packs of Jack in the Boxes (JitBs from here on). Nesting takes tons of preparation, map awareness, and, most of all, patience. You have to know when and where to set up and how long to wait before abandoning a useless nest. If you can't do any of that, I wouldn't try this.

Finally, I'd like to say this is my first guide ever. I'd love any comments, criticism, extra tips, etc.

Runes

My rune choices are more out of laziness than optimum effectiveness. They give a solid 35 AP which is a nice boost to your early game damage. I'm not sure how well the rest of this guild will play out if you choose other runes, as I have yet to test it with anything other than the runes listen.

If you do want to use other runes, I recommend MrPen runes and other ability damage increasing runes. I'd avoid CDR as the build I use removes the need for it, however I could see dropping the Morello's Tome if you take CDR runes.

Items

Meki Pendant & 2 Health Potions
Your two starting items are pretty important. Meki Pendant allows you to continually spam boxes, although casting anything else will slowly drain your mana. It also happens to build into an important CDR item. The health potions are for the small amount of laning you'll be doing.

Fiendish Codex
The second item on your shopping list is something you'll be building twice over the course of the game, although you won't be keeping either for long. It builds into three different, better CDR items, two of which are extremely beneficial to Nesting Shaco.

Kage's Lucky Pick
Boots of Mobility & Kage's Lucky Pick
You can pretty much get these items in whatever order you see fit. Sometimes it can be better to get the Kage's if your kills are fairly low, your early game didn't go well, or something similar. The boots just help you get places faster. I use mobility because of the way I choose to play AP Shaco, as outlined later on. You can easily replace the boots with just about any kind you like, but the extra speed really helps out when running from lane to lane.
