Nice to see people like BraveBoot doesn't like putting on his thinking cap.

Nice guide. I recommend changing the first point from E to Q. Charge up your Q at the fountain, and if your team gets into a level 1 teamfight, you can silence 2-3 people and summon your Voidling as well. Besides, E at level 1 doesn't do a significant amount of damage.

Your choice of summoner spells is extremely poor. No escape tools whatsoever. Even if you AREN'T overextended, you can still get tower dived and ganked. Say you get caught in an Ashe Arrow. You're basically screwed over. You're Malzahar. You NATURALLY push lanes with your Malefic Visions, so you can push the lane onto the opponent's tower and pass the Malefic visions onto your opponent. Normally you'll be pushing at the middle of the lane, but not in range for your tower to hit a champion if someone jumps on you. You also don't explain about using Teleport as an offensive ability. TP-ing in to gank a lane is extremely potent with your ultimate. Or you can get to a Baron fight by teleporting to a ward.

As Malzahar, you have no natural sustainability ( Example : Warwick's Q ). Getting a catalyst or Philosopher's Stone would help you out if you're up against someone who harass you. Even getting another 1-2 Doran's Rings would help you out. Rushing Death Cap makes you a glass cannon, and unless you're up against newer players that's not going to work.

I'm personally not a fan of downvoting guides, so I won't. I just feel that your guide could use a bit more before it gets my vote.

Note that this guide isn't a "strict" build, it's a "situational" one. ^^

Great guide. I like how it provides many choices. As far as the build goes, I'm not a huge fan of Rylai's, but I acknowledge that it is a viable choice for Malzahar. Also I prefer to level Q over W, but recently I have been trying to utilize my W more, and even though it's usually simple for the enemy to avoid, it has great synergy with CC that allies can use to stop people on your NZ. All in all a very effective and well written guide. +1 from me
