This guide will be on hold, and I will remake it into a more serious 'project' in the near future. The structure will be new, the format will be more visually appealing.
This guide is however still applicable to the new eve (I always use it). The next guide will be more detailed as stated, so look out for it some time after the next patch.

08/09/12 - ok, played her about 40 times after her recent BUFF, which I must say, riot... well done, now you made a fool on yourself, cuz now u gotta remove it. Eve is too op. She regens mana from 0% to 100% in <1 minute. She burst down any champion without magic resist, in 1 or 2 seconds. I.e, any hp champion, because this build scales with HP. And lastly, she is a champ with her pros OUTWEIGHING her cons. All champions in this game include pros and cons, and a balance of such. Eve, is ridiculously too overpowered.
11/09/12 - fixed the item purchase order. Also I prophesies Riot will Nerf DFG.

This is my first guide... LOL DON'T LEAVE.
Ok, so my main is Heimerdinger, and I've played him since I started LoL. DON'T NEED TO KNOW THIS. ---- So, why did I decide to make a guide, OUT OF NOWHERE, and base it on the worst champ known to LoL? Well because I have a fetish on un-favourable champions, underdogs and sleeper OPs. (hence I have never played Lee Sin) (hence why I use EXP runes)

Evelynn is an amazing addition to the team. Her ganks are fast and unnoticeable. She may not be as tanky and as strong early game, but if you play with this guide, she pretty much jumps to being 'OP' after a single item. She has the traits of a mid-lane AP assassin; squishy, high burst, fast, stealthed, and like them all, combo orientated. Like all champions with a unique characteristic, Evelynn is not to be missed when she has a burst build. - To my honest opinion, too much AD and Hybrid builds, but this guide definitely will bring her into the limelight.

I don't want to get into arguing with you, so just do whatever I say in this guide, and judge yourself.

This is my first time making a guide, so I will be brief.
NO mercy, if you do not catch up. will look slightly odd to some. Well I guess that's what I feel like, that's what works. You may change the EXP runes into movement speed, IDC. let's get to the good stuff already... Really designed to help as much as possible The real show of this guide, is that Evelynn is an item carry, not some ****ty junglUr that can't scale AD anymore.

Hey first guide, try to keep up.


Ever since dat update, Eve has a mini-blue buff passive, free stealth, yaddi yaddi ya... This has completely changed evelynn for the 'better'. She now scales 0.9 with AP, but 0.8 with AD (I'm guesstimating here). How come I don't see anybody playin' dis' champ? Well how 'bout we be the first ones to try to use her maximum potential, and show the meta, what RIOT (possible) intends Eve to be.

Yes, mid lane. As a jungler, she has the good ganks. But can she really farm up? I mean, we are building an item carry here.
Evelynn can really lose her lane early, but that's besides the point. She can also be a ***** to everyone in the map. Enemy calling MIA's all day, can't keep up. But you just stayin in lane, refreshing your mana, then pushing that lane back. Only then, can you go gank.

Yes, Evelynn's new role is to play with the enemy minds.. HENCE THE TELEPORT ON SUMMONER SPELLS.

You're probably asking.
Evelynn has a mini-blue buff when she is stealthed... THAT IS OP. (18+ mana a second)
Just get your Q first, farm with that, push the lane with that. IDC, YOU HAVE FREE MANA.
once you've pushed dat lane, you go GANK, or destroy enemy jungle (you will probably have enough mana to gank while you are walking there anyway)
Constantly stealth yourself so the enemy gets uneasy with your MIAs.

not uncommon where you will have experienced times where you are underfarmed to your lane... AS YOU WOULD OF GUESSED. But fear not, let them push, you do your thang, and gank them.

FROM NOW ON, DO WHATEVER. BUT GET THESE ITEMS:

You should be using them in a combo (provided next chapter)

Buy these items: (in order of importance)

• Lich Bane ( Sheen first)
• Rabadon's Deathcap
• Rylai's Crystal Scepter

You should have a basic understanding of Evelynns skills, and the understanding of the items in the game, before playing this guide (should of stated earlier).

So, Evelynn really prevails after gunblade (depending how early u get it). Do not alter this by buying deathfire first, because... well you are dumb. But that gunblade gives you AWSOME sustain, and an AWSOME active, which the enemy cannot escape from.


K so, considering you are level 6+ in-game, and you have gunblade + deathfire. (if you do not have deathfire yet, don't worry bout it, and do whatever comes next in that combo.

SEQUENCE.

W + Deathfire + R + E + Q + Gunblade + Q + Q + Q + Q... SO ON


Skill order:
Max your Q first, and max your W last. Obviously grab your R whenever you can.


Enjoy the best part in Evelynn, which is that combo.

No longer jungle with eve. dats the old eve.
I do not believe you should waste a team slot for Evelynn, who has much more potential elsewhere.
I would rather ask if someone has a jungler with big CC or something, catch my drift?
Eve gets fed a-lot faster when mid laning/roaming.

JUNGLE WORKS, but as I said, why waste blue buff if you already have one, and why waste a roamers slot when you could have TWO roamers. Its logical. Unless you're not good at roaming, I would suggest going jungle so that you can get use to it. Playing Mid-roamer takes some techniques.
Here is how you leave lane (early game);
- Get harrassed, go b, cancel b so that ur stealthed, take health pot and walk towards ganking. By the time you've reached the lane, eve should of regenerated 25% of her hp, and 50% of her mana. Don't believe how fast? Patience is op...

MOVING ON...

With Evelynn, you are weak early game, and stronger mid-game+, or, as soon as you have reached gunblade.
As mid lane, you are going to be losing it for sure. To compensate, you are going to use Eve's speciality to her full potential - which is.... stealth. This early on, pink wards will be possibly only present in bot lane, though this means that bot lane will be a-lot harder to gank, it also means, bot lane may/maynot buy 1.
To the enemies full horror, you will be ganking early, as soon as level 2/4, or if you are uncomfortable with that, 5.5. A gank this early on, is effective and chances of popping an enemy flash of some sort, is high. To maximise this, if your jungler is nearby, ask him to join.

Ganking early means leaving lane early, that is something you will have to face. Those ganks are the only things that are going to be meaningful to you, as much as 1 kill can get you that early Kage's Lucky Pick.

With this play-style, it pretty much means mid lane is free to farm (or so you think, when you are wrecking other lanes). You are going to try to avoid being face-to-face from mid lane, unless you have 3+ kills, or at least a Bildgewater Cutlass.

Below is the reasoning to the 3 summoner spells you should be using almost 98% of the time.

Teleport
since u be laning, since u be ganking, since u be invisible most of the time, this will wreck their minds about your whereabouts, this is also a GREAT positioning tool. (trust me, I've picked off a team doing baron by TP'ing behind them.

Exhaust
*****es be runnin, so you slow them when u need to.
Exhaust in my opinion, provide CC when your champion wouldn't normally have. It comes in handy in team fights, AND, in assassinations.

Ignite
If ever you feel exhaust would not be needed, you can take ignite. Although I myself rarely pick it, as I rather the CC benefits of exhaust. Nevertheless, Ignite does help you with the early Burst.

It's 4:20 in the morning, and I stayed up for 4 hours making this guide.
ITS THAT AMAZING

Tell me your thoughts. No seriously... I dare you. Maybe I'm not explaining thoroughly enough, but I'm surprising everybody.


Early game is your weak point, but after gunblade, you will have fun with dat combo.

Positioning is key to evelynn, being a ghost around the map.

-No, evelynn is not a face checker.

The main difference in this guide is that, you will have Gunblade rushed, followed by a Deathfire. To me, that is the 2 keys to Evelynn. 2nd difference, is the TP + Exhaust
In my opinion, I've seen many rush for the Deathfire, where you could keep the Kage's Lucky Pick a little longer. It is also alot better to go for the more affordable item such as Bildgewater Cutlass.
