Hi guys, I'd like to welcomy you to my Nidalee build. As you all know, Nidalee can be build many ways, but I'd like to stress the fact that this is a PURE ap build. This is meant to play at a solo lane (preferebly top) so you can have maximum farm and xp. The reason why I like her with this build is that by level 7 you can already heal around 400 and be capable of harassing without having the risk to die. Another reason why I like nidalee is because you can get some damage at your lane, and just stay under turret for some mana, heal up and get back into the fight, without needing to lose any xp or farm.
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration: Magic penetration is usefull as you take the ionian boots, also since you're building AP you tend to deal damage with spells right?
Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration: Mana regeneration is the most important thing on nidalee! Even with a blue you run low on mana cause you'll spamming heal with spears.
Greater Glyph of Ability Power: Flat ap glyphs will give you that slight boost early game to heal more effectively.
Greater Quintessence of Health: Flat healths are needed to stay in lane longer, with some good health you won't have to risk getting hit and let's you play agressively.
I go for the 9/0/21 build with points in longer buff duration because a nidalee with a blue buff is unstoppable. Unlimited heals and spears is like hell when there isn't being pushed.
I start of with a Doran's Ring because it gives you some extra health, ap and mana/5 which is actually the best items in my eyes, you won't need pots because you have a healing spell. After my first recall, i usually grab my Boots of Speed and try to build my Sheen. Sheen will give you that extra damage you need with your Q (in catform). After my second recall I try to build my Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Needlessly Large Rod. Whenever you have enough cash to build the Rabadon's Deathcap go back to base. As you could see above I build some more ap items but it's actually situationall, if you get focussed a lot you might try to build a Rylai's Crystal Scepter but if not you want to finish your Lich Bane.
Healing spell is priority number 1. This is because you want to stay in lanes as long as possible which you will get with lots of healing. It gives you this nice passive attack speed increase, which you need to abuse to harass the enemy. I take trap on level 2, and immediatly trap the nearest bushes at river to make sure I know when i get ganked. Getting traps avoids you to buy wards. I level my spear when my healing is maxed out, I do this because your spear is useless early game, since the damage is low and it drains mana like hell. Try to avoid using spear before level 8. Your main spell is healing, this means you have to use it well. Don't heal yourself when you're at 90%, that's a waste of mana and cd for when you really need it.
I take Flash because I like this spell. it gives you this extra blink for when your ult//jump is on cd and it doesn't take you to be pointed in the direction where you want to jump to (useful in ganks).
My second summoner is Ghost because together with your passive and catform you can get a high movement speed and this gives you a great mapcontrol. Not only you can dash trough walls but you can also get a high movement speed to switch between lanes.
