Nidalee is one of the best pokers with blue buff before starting a teamfight, her laning fase is extremly annoying (for your opponent), with your heal /attackspeed you can easily harras and farm at the same time. Your only problem is that you should hit level 6 at the same time or faster.

Level 6 means you can flash in to combo your oppponent (if he's around 40%) to 1 shot him with your cat burst. If he runs / flash, Just deliver him the spear of doom =D

Best poke champ ever
Highest 1 hit spell in the game on full range (veigar can do more but only on AP champs)

Cons:
Get focussed alot
Dies rather quick
Doesnt heal so much like she used to
Mana regen late game kinda sucks, you'll need blue sometimes (ask jungler)

I use flat AP Quins to make sure i have enough AP early game for my cat form / heal. The spear does enough damage anyways, I love playing with mana regen runes but you can switch those to armor or AP. I just like being in lane longer then needed.

Scaling AP blues and AP pen Red are really a must have, these wil boost you early / mid and late game. With your void staff and lich bane + DC you will 2 shot there ap carry + poke.

These new masteries are really giving Nidalee a boost as poker. You spear will late game 1 shot people that are below 50% health if the're not tanks or absorb with banshees.

Flash en Ghost are the best if you are afraid of getting one shotted by ap carries. But since flash is nerfed so badly you can also take Teleport (Not really needed if you are level 6, just hop to your lane) or you can take cleanse to remove ignite's from you to heal. Or stuns ofcourse.

Farming makes the game, harras doesnt. Only if you are 100% sure you can kill him with this, you should go for it. Else you should focus on farming and trying to deny HIS farm. Nidalee can take alot of damage early game cause of her Primal surge. But i still love to max my spear asap so you can really harras if that is needed

The item build that is up here is kinda a basic AP carry build. You can also choose to switch one of those items into a banshees veil if you feel focussed alot. You can also go for Guardian angel to make sure you can deal enough damage hop out, jump back in with low health to finish of some scrubs, die, revive and flash away.

This build isnt completed yet, i still need to work on some things and i will be happy to update this as soon as possible.
