Hi my name is TJAyo. I'm in Silver 1 but have played a LOT of Rengar games so I figured why not.

WARNING: I don't like giving advise a lot and don't feel it in my place to explain the game to newbies, so this is just an item build mostly. If you want to learn how to become a mechanically good Rengar, watch ryan choi.

This build is one I thought up after many games. It basically tries to get the cheapest possible build for a one-shotty stabcat who can dominate really early on with ult and ult+ghost ganks. A lot of times I see people build hydra and Bork on Rengar and I just don't like those items in the jg (expensive!!!). So I found a bunch of cheap, good items on him that happened to be blue, hence the name.

Ok OK, I used to use feral flare a LOT with Rengar, but it went through a lot of nerfs. That isn't what made me not like it though. What made me not like it is when I went back and played some Vi. I realized Rengars gank pattern (being sorta ult reliant) is a lot like Vi's but similar to Vi he has other gank methods (a la e snare). What puts rengar on top to me is that with elder lizard and brutalizer early, you can get a 72 sec cooldown on your ult lvl 1. That is a lot of ganks. Ganks that would be suboptimal with the pharrel flare.

RENGAR GANKS=KILLS

Now everything is standard for AD champs except for my glyphs. You can go MR Gyphs if you want to, but you really don't need it in the jungle. Besides that, with just two early CD items, You have 40% Cd late game, which gives you a 2.1 sec q, which lets you stab the planet. If you feel you MUST have mr glyphs, fine. Otherwise if your against heavy AP team, just get an early specters cloak over a giants belt.

Basically how I laid it out at the top.

Early-mid core involves rushing lizard and merc treads. this is just strong because you need that MR and tenacity to gank bot and mid lane (as most meta supports do magic damage and mid is... well mid). Then try to get brutalizer as fast as possible. It's just a good item.

Now here unless your crazy ahead, this is the mid game. At this point dragon fights are going to start being an issue, so get an early giants belt. It is so good for early skirmishes and rengar's great q ratio allows him to. Then get a LW, for ,you know, the kills bro.

After LW, its getting to that time were the other team wants to fight them. Well, that's when you RUN UP TO THEIR ADC IN A TEAMFIGHT AND TELEPORT YOUR KNIFE UP DAT ***. *cough* sorry got excited. Anyways finish sunfire so they can't kill you that easy. Actually if they have a lot of aa champs, get randuins, its $$ but good vs them. After that get Yomuus and proceed to oneshotting. All of that armor pen is basically true dmg to a squishy with no armor, and can shred tanks and bruisers in duels.

If you get SUPER far ahead and you already got that last Mr item, sell your lizard and get tri-force, then you just get ridiculous.
