BarbJ: Thank you so much for that math! Was just about to do it myself when Slizer said 2-4 HP/5 ^^ Mind if I add it to my guide? In terms of Teleport, I don't take Spatial Accuracy because I'm not sure if the 5 second CDR of the spell is worth the same amount of 2% mana + health regeneration from Perseverence . While it's not a good idea to fully max Perseverence, one level of it is pretty nice. So, both end up being pretty insignificant, I guess it's up to personal preference whether you want to shave off 5 seconds from Teleport, or give yourself 1 extra mana and health regeneration.

With regards to Strength of Spirit vs Harden Skin , again it's the same issue as above. Either you grab a little bit of regen, or get 1 flat reduction. It's kinda up to personal preference with insignificant masteries :/

Basically in the utility tree, I've chosen masteries vital on all a solo lane: Utility Mastery and Awareness . Everything else is up to personal preference.

This is your answer to the first question in the Q&A portion. Yet you do NOT spec into Utility Mastery ! Fix it! DEMAND RAGE!

^,^

Just do what you like, ignore what you don't. If you like Strength of Spirit , go for it. It's a guide, it is meant to help you, guide you. Not force you to do something you don't like.

First off, I'd like to say that I'm a fan of your guides. I feel like they're great for players like me who want to be *GOOD* as opposed to just wanting a huge KDA against stupid and/or inexperienced players (though that's fun too :) ). I regularly feel like your guides are much more useful and than the flavor of the month "top guides".

Specifically related to this guide, however, I'd like to leave some of my own feelings, commentary, and questions. I really like the asthetic appeal to the guide as I feel that it makes it much easier to follow (pictures, color coded words, etc). I also really like the addition of the videos. It helps to have a visual representation of some of the things you talk about (for instance, being able to kill a low HP champion with a quick Spirit Fire). Another thing is that you, unlike most of the Nasus guides that I've read (I love Nasus :D), added in a few comments about what to do when players hard deny you your early Q farm. I've had this happen, and it sucks hard :(

As I am not a high ELO player, nor do I pretend that I will be anytime soon (seeing as I haven't even hit level 30 yet D:), I have a question or two for you. How would you deal with a team that, say, doesn't have a jungler (and yours does), so you end up solo laning two opponents? My main reason for asking is because I feel that I often get stuck laning two hard CC champs who seriously hamper my Q farm. Also, if I'm using Exhaust/Teleport, do you recommend grabbing either of the improved masteries? Looking through the masteries, I don't really see anything that could be dropped for either of them, but I'm not as experienced as you are either :)

And lastly, I had a question about your guide itself. There are a few instances where I see you talking about early game mana problems where you show Strength of Spirit as a solution. I was confused by this and wondered if it may have been a mistake since SoS only adds HPp5. A quote from your guide: "Well, most likely your Runes would be Seals of Replenishment/Clarity which are good for early game mana regeneration, especially if you're planning on spamming a lot of those Qs to get last hits. If you've run in this direction, I would recommend grabbing Strength of Spirit to help with your mana problems." (from the Masteries section). You also recommend SoS in the same manner under Seals in your Runes section.

Thanks again for making such awesome and (n00b) friendly guides! :D

Potatis: Did you not read the math? o.O SoS is **** early game, giving less than 1 HP regen, whereas VS gives you 48 health straight up, which is equivilent to 2x Quints of Fortitude. I'm not going to change it to SoS when it is so bad.

Barb: Ah, you're a genuis, that's meant to say "Good Hands" not Utility Mastery =.= Thanks!

Lynxnef:
Good morning :) This was a great comment to wake up to, thank you ^^ You pose a fantastic question (2v1 solo top), and I will definitely add in a section about this for you, and credited to you for the idea. Basically Nasus is probably one of the best solo 1v2 champions in the game.

Why? Because he's virtually unkillable. Now, you have to first look at the team composition. If in the loading screen you notice they have no jungler (and they're not pulling off something stupid like no- Smite Warwick/Shaco/Nunu) and you'll be solo top against 2 champions, you need to plan ahead.

Generally you'll be up against 2 AD top (this is what I've found when in those games, you'll be against a full AD team or against a team of tanky DPS) and you'll need to build immediately to counter this. You can start Boots of Speed and 3x potions for the 600 effective health, or really speed up your health and mana regeneration with a Regrowth Pendant start for the Philosopher's Stone. I tend to grab Doran's Shield with Nasus as it increases my health by 120, my armor by 10 and my health regen by 8 per5 - this is perfect for lasting against two harassing champions.

Against two champions you are going to have to either max Spirit Fire first, or max it equally with Siphoning Strike. Funnily, Nasus does fantastic against two champions as soon as he hits level 6. Many people will be baited into targeting him, but because of his lifesteal and his ultimate, Nasus can easily 1v2, especially as most likely you'll hit level 6 faster than they will ( Awareness + the fact you're a solo lane) and get a double kill.

I had a Hyfe video in mind about 1v2, but he has apparently taken it down. I'll have a look through my Nasus games and see if I can find a suitable game to make a video out of. If you check back on the guide later today, I'll have a nice little section about 1v2 that will hopefully better written than this rambling mess :)

In terms of me talking mana and Strength of Spirit I actually meant Meditation and when I copied it wrong once, the error replicated itself =.= Thanks for picking that up!

Cripple and Spatial Accuracy - Cripple is actually fantastic, possibly the best level 1 mastery tree upgrade, but as you said, there's nothing really I can shave a point off. Spatial Accuracy is good, 5 seconds off its CDR, but I grab Perseverence for the little tiny boost in lane.

Hope that answered all your questions? :)

Asterul: Yes, I missed that! Great score, added :D
