Getting charm at either level two or three is the way to go. I sometimes grab it at level two if i know i will be securing kills with it. But i am glad my build helped you out!

Thank you both for your comments. As far as the doran's ring is concerned, it is a personal preference. As you may have noticed her starting health is nothing special. To counter this i use the dorans ring, since for the first few levels keeping your passive active while maintaining mana is a little tricky. It is simply a personal preference mind you, as stated above you may choose to start with booths, or even an ampliphying tome!

It is simply my opinion on it, since doran's ring actually give you all the stats you need (excluding magic pen and mana.) In fact i've found that if you arent doing so well in lane, a second ring can make all the difference in the world.

However your comment will be kept in mind as i do further testing. At the moment however, i am still leaning towards the bonus health and mp5 over an addictional 5 ap from the tome.

Well its more about getting the Hextech Revolver quicker than the 5 more AP. That and being able to carry health pots, to secure you if you get a good beating.

But I completely understand your choice, and that's great ^_^. Again, doing a really good job here.

I have found that I still like to take my Charm at level two but max it out later and take fox fire over charm when it comes to maxing out. I've been thinking about it but your guide really made me do it :p.

You have a solid build here but may I suggest starting out without a Doran's Ring? (the MP5 is not a make or break and the health doesnt really matter since you can go for your hextech faster and your passive will heal you just fine) It actually can be quite handy :). Specially for getting your Hextech ASAP.

I think I'm gonna try maxing out Fox-Fire before hand, because I'm noticing that charm's damage is not as high as I thought it was and the only real thing its good for is to pull the enemy.

Thank you for the ideas, and the compliment on my build :)

THIS BUILD IS LEGIT!!!!!! a must try! the Rylias+Charm is basically a 2 sec stun! i followed your spell order and started maxing Fox-Fire instead of Charm second and my damage increased significantly!

+1 for meh

I'm glad it worked for you! Actually that is a bug on mobafire. Nasus and Ahri's passive both share the same name, and the icon coding is done via spell/item name. I'm not sure if they have fixed it yet since i just havnt checked.

As i posted, builds are likely to vary depending on games. I find many people frankly don't like rod of ages for some reason. I personally get it just so i can spam a little longer, or if i am soloing for the on level passive. It is merely to keep me laning longer and give me an upper hand in mid game where Ahri shines so well.

Either way, i am glad you liked the build and thank you for your comment!

Solid guide. Have tried it out today and almost won every match (of course due to great teams as well). I left out Rod of Ages and went straight to Deathcap after Will of the Ancients or - if the enemies dealt to much damage I went for Rylai's first.
But you posted the wrong Passive- the one you linked there is Nasus' and not Ahri's :)

A 9-0-21 build was also suggested as a recommended build in the mastery section. While the bonus spell vamp would be a nice addition, i do feel it defeats the purpose of being an AP nuke. The percentage based AP increase is tough for me to pass up, and the other masteries in utility are somewhat... lacking as far as damage is concerned. I do appreciate the help though and will keep everything in mind.

Hmm, after reading what you wrote, I'm thinking why not 9-0-21 masteries? ;)
Improved spell vamp through Transmutation (If you claim that Ahri has nice sustained DPS, great cooldown reduction and also a lot of mana regen + optional starting gold to open up with a Doran's Ring and a Health Potion)

I usually go with 9-0-21 on Morgana and it proves to be very efficient in terms of lane sustain.

Just threw another tip to your collection ^^

Good luck with the guide.
