I just want to add if you are feeling uncomfortable with this build you can swap Malady for whatever else you feel is better for that situation lets say if you need more survivability for example, only reason to really swap it out...

And once you get ALL your items swap out Sword of the Occult for Infinity edge.

Exhaust is a MUST HAVE for Nocturne because of the fact he can escape and catch up to enemies with little effort so you want to focus on spells that can execute and get the job done..

Ignite is my second choice with Nocturne to make sure I finish my enemy and get noob heal out the way. :P

Alternative spell choices...

Ghost/Flash - Yes I know Nocturne has great mobility as it is, but IF you are getting use to him and still learning him I recommend this for your first few games. SWAP for Ignite ALWAYS want Exhaust.

Heal - Again if your new to him heal is always nice.

ALWAYS KEEP EXHAUST NO MATTER WHAT!
