I play AD Carry for Ranked Team All Time Blow, and Nocturne is just one of my favourite assasins and ad carrys. I hope this build/guide can help you like how it helps me play.
PS If it's your first time as Nocturne try this build out a bit inside a normal 5v5!
These runes are picked for pure AD output and some attac speed. Why? of course for ripping apart squishies fast and some good and well done damage on tanks.
These masteries, like the runes are made for pure damage. Take down champions, throwing them left to right. But some people think masteries dont matter. But i believe masteries are what give you a small advantage that;s why I picked an AD mastery page so you have a slight uperhand in damage.
These items are stranded for Nocturne but some people do not know. I've been using this build ever since i've been playing AD carries and Nocturne. These items may be replaced with others.
For example if I were you, you may want yo get another speed item like Madreds BloodRazor for more attack speed, but again preference.
Since Nocturne can speed himself up he can easily chase oppoenents, but then why did i choose flash and exhaust? So I can catch them quicker and allow fast kills start game. Making sure they can't run back to turrets.
Unlike some AD Champions, he is broken and isn't banned, (well not usually!) making him one of the perfect choices for filling in for jungle or bot laning.
A few kills can make you a killer and with your ulti easily take out turrets - opponents cant see and taking/chasing kills. (Do not ever use your ulti at the start of a battle).

Creeping / Jungling
Creeping and jungling is well known for this character to choose. But have i ever done it? No is the answer.
The reason for this is because i believe as a normal laner he can get more farming in and more kills (He is not that good of a ganker without ult!).
His team work is fairly efficient. After huge team fights (obviously he joins in) he can use his ulti and clean up the field killing characters your team didnts and also his ulti can work well with ganking. His ulti (and for one last time i promise!) is great for taking out turrets. (I think i said this earlier?)
