UPDATED: 7/10/2011 After Nocturne has been nerfed, I've edited his build to his current stature. This build will also give him the survivability he needs.

My favorite champion next to Karthus. Nocturne, my Eternal Nightmare.

I will update this guide as I go. This guide will be very situational and I will try to give you a rundown of what to buy for what situation.

The current build is for when you have a GOOD team comp, and your company knows how to play their champions. You might need to go a bit more defensively if otherwise. This build just lets you 4 shot people.

Pros:
- Amazing Ganking capability
- Tons of damage it a little bit of time
- One of the best 1 on 1 champs
- Great Farmer
- Great Jungler

Cons:
- Squishy lategame
- Target of most CC's
- Lategame is dependent A LOT on your team.

What a great passive. Really helps with his farm, and can even get you that rare pentakill out of sheer luck.


This is the last skill I level up, unlike most other guides for Nocturne. I believe the benefit of the Fear and the bonus attack speed greately out-do the bonuses of this skill. Since you have ghost, you will not need the speed increase, and with the enhanced fear duration you'll be able to land extra hits on your foe. Not only that, but this is a skillshot... If you max this first and miss the skillshot on a gank, you will be crippled.


This should be popped FIRST before your fear after you ult someone. The first thing that people think when they get jumped on is, "****! STUN IT! STUN IT!" It never fails, they will most likely always try and stun/slow you. Popping your fear after this will mostly insure a kill.


God, I love this skill. This is the first thing I max out after getting level 4. There is nothing else to say about this skill, it's just awesome.


Be sure to have blue buff at all times. This will give your ult a shorter cooldown, and of course the Mana Regen for jungling. Having Red and Blue while ulting onto someone, even if they flash, they will most likely die 9/10 of the time. ALWAYS use this on the person that's in the back, unless they are right next to eachother. Snatching the person closest to the turret and insuring that kill will give you a chance for a doublekill on the last one standing.
