Introduction

Hello to everyone reading this build. I am making this guide on Nocturne because i thought it would be fun to make a guide. Before i start on this i hope u guys will read carefully and not down vote it cause the build looks stupid. Im just showing how i play as him and usually i do good. Oh also this is for 3v3 Map in case u didn't read title :P

Runes

• Greater Quintessence of Health: Always nice to have more health right? Also once again get these bcz hes squishy and all
  
• greater mark of Desolation: -Great runes for attack damage champions
  
• Greater Glyph of Attack Speed: -A little As Never hurt no one :)
  
• Greater Seal of Armor: -Nocturne is squishy get these to make him less squishy

Summoner Spells

OK Now i will explain how i chose my summoner skills.

Ghost- Very good catching ability for people who run away like Master Yi or Sivir

Exhaust- Awesome slow and if u have the mastery point great debuff early game

Other Spells u might get are.....

Flash- Great escape plan/killing spell use it instead of ghost

Ignite- Good for first blood or stopping people like Fiddlesticks lifesteal

Clairvoyance- Awesome with your ult. Use it so u can get those guys in the fog of war.

Skills

Passive: Umbra Blades - Every 10 seconds, Nocturne's next attack strikes surrounding enemies for 120% of his physical damage and heals himself for 15 / 20 / 25 per target hit. Nocturne's basic attacks reduce this cooldown by 1 second.

A Very good Passive. Helps u farm in early-mid game. It also has good splash damage and descent life steal



Q: Duskbringer - Nocturne throws a shadow blade which deals physical damage 60 / 110 / 160 / 210 / 260 (+0.75 per bonus attack damage), leaves a Dusk Trail, and causes champions who are hit to also leave a Dusk Trail for 5 seconds. While on the trail, Nocturne ignores unit collision and has increased Movement Speed 15% / 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% and Attack Damage 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60.

This with ghost is when Nocturne becomes someone u cant run away from. Also very good when maxed out considering it gives u + 60 atk damage.




W: Shroud of Darkness - Nocturne empowers his blades, passively gaining attack speed 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% / 40%. Activating Shroud of Darkness allows Nocturne to fade into the shadows, creating a magical barrier for 2 seconds which blocks a single enemy ability and doubles his passive attack speed for 5 seconds if successful.

Awesome Shield that blocks any spell even ults! If your a sivir user or have used sivir b4 this skill is just like her shield and it should be easy to learn when to use it.



E: Unspeakable Horror - Nocturne plants a nightmare into his target's mind, dealing damage each second for total 50 / 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 (+100% of ability power) over 2 seconds and fearing the target for 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 seconds if they do not get out of range by the end of the duration.

Very good skill. Its awesome with the Q ability. Just use your Q pop your fear and auto attack away u can usually kill most squish's with this combo



Ultimate: Paranoia - Nocturne reduces the sight radius of all enemy champions and removes their ally vision for 4 seconds, this includes champions, minions, wards and towers. He can then launch himself at a enemy champion with a large range 2500 / 3250 / 4000. Deals 150 / 300 / 450 (+1.2 per bonus attack damage) physical damage on arrival.

Paranoia is your supreme ganking ability. Although in 5v5 is not that big in 3v3 u can practicly enter any battle once its lvl 3 Also quick note its good to save it so u can kill those guys who flash away.Now, with that out of the way, when are you going to ult? You will use your ultimate whenever you see a clear opportunity to net yourself a kill.

Items

OK So i go for Berserker's Greaves for the attack speed. Then i rush the B. F. Sword. Since i usually go top with nocturne so i can pretty much farm up gold with my Q and passive. And since your Q gives u attack damage u don't need to go for the The Brutalizer ti'll later on.

Once i get my B. F. Sword i get Vampiric Scepter for life steal then Zeal for the attack speed. Then finish up my B. F. Sword to a Infinity Edge for the awesome damage and critical damage. After that i finish Zeal Into Phantom Dancer for more attack speed and then i get the The Brutalizer for all its lovely stuff like Armour penetration and cool down reduction.

The reason why i don't finish Youmuu's Ghostblade is usually at that time the spell caster might be getting strong so i buy a Negatron Cloak cause its nice to have some MR. After that i get Youmuu's Ghostblade and finish up Banshee's Veil. And Usually we either win or they surrender at this point but if u can, make your The Bloodthirster, really good item in fact u can make it b4 finishing Youmuu's Ghostblade i just usually get it last.

Farming

Ok Now i will explain how u farm as nocturne. As Nocturne i play aggressively once i get my Unspeakable Horror. I will always look for a chance to use my Duskbringer on the enemy champ then use the Unspeakable Horror. On Squish's i usually get first blood and continue outlaning them .If there not squishy ....well then call for a gank. :P

The combo u always want to do is Q > W > E > Q and R if needed. The main way to kill minions is cast your Duskbringer straight down them and try to hit all of them and then auto attack the middle one to make sure u passive Umbra Blades does its job and damages all the minions. Once u reach level 6 always look for a chance to use your Ult. Paranoia on bot lane and gank them. And as long as u farm well getting the items in my list should be no problem. :)
