Ehhh. Building Bloodrazor every game? 4% of their max health, mitigated by magic resist only ends up at like 2% health per hit. At 3000 health, that's only an extra 60 damage a hit or so. And against squishies, that'll be even less. For 3800 gold, that's a pretty poor addition to your arsenal. You also lose out on flipping into a Wriggles - giving you more survivability, and most importantly control over baron and dragon. Remember - this is a team game.

Not to mention, once you have Madred's Razors, you're either going to be sitting on it un-upgraded for a while, leaving you with a poorer mid game, or rush Bloodrazor - which is a bad player's strategy. Why rush the one item that scales the best lategame, and the worst earlygame?

If you have Bloodrazor as a core every game (especially if its your first big item), you'll find yourself stomped once you get into ranked games against competent teams. Only grab it if the other team has one or more soaks (such as Mundo). Hopefully you'll improve your build so I can vote this positively.

too late defensive items
Noted, though the first item purchased in both builds is Cloth Armor. The Frozen Mallet provides lots of health, and it's only the 2nd item after boots. I also take the liberty of assuming people can add a Negatron Cloak or Catalyst the Protector (which build into Banshee's Veil) earlier if really necessary. The key is balance between defensive and offensive items; you want just enough defense to stay alive, but enough offense to get kills. These builds put Nocturne's ending AD at about 300 not including criticals, and my experience is that is enough to take anyone down pretty quickly, and the defense is enough that the enemy will get punished if they spend all their spells on killing me.

Advertising your own guides, especially in other ppl guides is against the terms of MOBAfire... I'm just sayin' So plz don't do that in the future. I don't want to be rude, just wanted you to know that.

Thanks man! You're right, I tried to make this build pretty comprehensive since it is my first. I actually decided to delete a few sections in order to slim things down and remove the fluff. My hope is this build and guide can help cut the learning curve for future Nocturne players.
