Ok So you have chosen to play nocturne. Good choice. wonderful character to keep the enemy on thier toes at all times. Take advantage of Nocturnes movement speed and damage output because you will need it as nocturne is somewhat squishy. nocturne is an ideal ganker and this should be taken advantage of throughout the whole game.

Alright! So the game has just started and you have grabbed your begginer item(s). If your following my guide which I can probabaly assume you are if your reading this hahaha. Anyways, you should have a Long sword and a health potion. Honestly i usually go mid with nocturne... I know what your saying, "well geez Pimp why would you go mid with nocturne? he isnt ranged!" This is true, but nocturne has the amazing ability to abuse and hurr*** other players extremely well. So early game do exactly that. Throw your duskbringer at them whenever you got it off cd. Upgrade it whenever you can then start chasing them after you hit them. They will either run away or fight you. at this point MOST ranged enemies will be extremely squishy and easy to eithersend them back to the base or possibly grab a kill. So always hurr*** and gank always. if your not going mid, dont fret. Use the grass ALWAYS. Let them push a little and chase them out. remember it is extremely important not to over extend or put urself in a 2v1-3v1 situation. you will likely die because of how squishy nocturne is.

Not ganna get into this to much as this is mostly a prefference. I chose basic AS and AD runes with some CD reduction which may help early game for harrasment. Tottaly up to you what you want for your build. i chose clarity because it allows you to last alot longer earlier in the game as you will burn through mana fast. this allows you to hur*** more and possibly snatch some possible early game kills. i chose exaust because its a nice ability to have for any situation whether its for escaping chasing or just a direct fight. Could possible save your life.

Nocturne is extremely good at hurrasment early game. Use this to your advantage. constantly use Duskbringer on the enemeis to keep them at bay. Even if you dont hit them try to hit minions. now in the event that the enemy isnt moving away from your attack, use dusk then charge in and attack. you will hit harder and move faster because of dusk. if u get close enough pop shroud of darkness and then unspeakable horror. by this time your dusk will be off cooldown and you can finish up with that. This rotation works exrtremely well against just about anyone. Try not to tower dive with Nocturne and say away from 2v1 or 3v1 situations because nocturne is very squishy and doesnt do good aoe damage. In team battles try to focus on the tank because of nocturne's good overal damage output it will make it easy to clean up after this.
