Taric, The Gem Knight

There is an ancient form of magic, forgotten by many and discarded by some. It is the magic of the earth, of the resonance of crystals and gems. Taric's father was a healer in their city, on a world far away. Taric was always interested in his father's pursuits, even from a young age. Despite his burgeoning understanding of herbs, plants, and animal medicines, it was the power of gems that most fascinated the growing boy. It wasn't long before Taric had exhausted his father's coveted library and set out on a path of his own. He wasn't to be a healer, but a defender - one who used the power of the earth to preserve and protect. Quickly, Taric became a wandering knight, renowned across the land. That is, until the day a spell of summoning grabbed him from his home and deposited him on Runeterra. Now, Taric misses his world, though he is happy to fight in the League, protecting all who are in need.

''As Taric's father taught him, every stone has its meaning. For Taric's enemies, they all mean trouble.''

Introduction

So, this is my first guide, criticism is welcome but don't be a douche. This is my guide on how I (aka myself) play Taric. You don't have to play him this way, but if you're looking for a change of scenery(aka just sitting in a lane for 20 minutes) then this can be a fun build. I like to be where the fun is, which is why I choose to roam on Taric. People would say he is a support champ, and while that may be true, I play him as a DPS just because it's hilarious to 2 shot people if you're fed to the brim.

Runes/Masteries

Runes i go MPen Marks, CDR seals, and AP/Level glyphs/quints. The marks, glyphs, and quints are no question, I want stopping power late-game, and the CDR seals help me get my heal off faster if i choose to max my CDR thru items. Also no cookie-cutter health quints cause I'm a man's man.

Masteries are 21/0/9 offensive caster stuff, but picking up 4/4 awareness because we'll be roaming and want to grab all the exp we can.

Items

Start off with and

Mid game if you're fed grab and for LB later. If you're doin meh, grab Sheen and 3 Sight ward.

Late game you should be able to complete . This is where the fun begins because you just pick the target with the least MR/Health/Self-esteem (because you stomped them early/mid game 1v1 right?) and E plus W plus one autohit should equal one dead person.

Super fed items should look like this with the last spot going to or a situational item I guess. But we're manly men aren't we? We aren't going to worry about that Karthus, Ezreal, or Ashe ultimate because we are to bad *** to die. What has a banshee's veil ever done for anyone anyway?

Skill Sequence/Summoners

Okay, skills. So I pick up my Shatter at level one, then Imbue , then Dazzle at 3. I max Dazzle first(except at lvl 6/11/16), then Shatter, and finally Imbue. This makes for some hilarious kills because if they don't have much health left(I'm talking less than 150ish) and you fire a Dazzle from max distance and they pop ghost/flash/highlander/destiny, it follows them and will still kill them. Imagine TF's face when he destiny's away to a random spot on the map and is recalling, .5 sec from recall ending"Haha nobs i get away"*BOOM* "Summoner-A has slain Summoner-Z"

Pros and Cons

Pros:

Epic lane controllage

Enemy team will think twice about overextending (or not in some cases)

Stupid damage late-game if you're fed

Cons

Requires bot lane to be familiar with the champ they are playing.

In fact, it's very team dependent.

If there is a Veigar on their team...have Kayle follow you around if there's one on your team.

Summary

Yea I'm not gonna lie, I did this out of boredom last night and pooped on some people. They were Dazzled when I Shattered their hopes and dreams. LoL puns. But anyway. Try it, if you don't like, then eh whatever. But if you like it hooray, I'm glad. Can't you see the joy on my face? o_o Peace, have fun, all that other stuff.

ELO Hell

I also plan to play my way out of ELO hell with Taric. I've lost all my rating from 1.1k because of bads. Starting at 960 Rating, wish me luck!
