Introduction

Hi Folks! This is my AD/AS Carry Twisted Fate Guide!

Now you must be thinking, why? Well... just look at that critical animation! x'D And other than that, I believe Twisted Fate as returned to Season 3, with a stronger ad like capacity. Stun/Slow/Mana, poke (with Q if Soraka support; with W with any support), and an extra one-hit effect with a small attack speed and cdr buff.

And, believe me or not, if you see a Vayne farming bot alone, just ulti in her face, stun, Sword of the Divine and byebye Vayne!

Pros / Cons

Build Type 1

Pros

+ Scary normal and Sword of the Divine Burst
+ Easy 1v1 against another adc (even other classes)
+ Lots of Damage
+ Constant Crits
+ Versatile Pick A Card
+ People will give up and accept that AD Twisted Fate is viable

The fun about AD Twisted Fate, is the goosegumps of stunning an enemy, followed by a Stacked Deck, a Sheen and a Statikk Shiv, and then activating Sword of the Divine! Now, talking about pros, TF will deal a lot of damage with this build, with constant criticals, and will make sure that you scare the enemies with your epic burst. This build is perhaps the most versatile one. You can take it with all supports.
Cons

- Hard to play
- Need a lot of farm until Sword of the Divine
- Stuns/Blinds ruin SotD crits
- Vulnerable after using Sword of the Divine (check SotD passive)
- Lack of Damage in Wild Cards spell
- Ignorant people think AD Twisted Fate is not viable, so they call you troll at queue

Twisted Fate, like any other champion, has its Cons. Twisted Fate Cons are the fact that he is hard to play, needs a lot of farm (specially until you get Sword of the Divine), and is quite owned if he gets stunned or even blinded 1v1 against a burst champ, or even in a teamfight. But the worst of this all, are the people. Ignorant people will just spam in the chat that you're a troll. My advice is to just ignore them!

Build Type 2

Pros

+ CRITABOOM Sword of the Divine Burst
+ Stronger 1v1 than type 1
+ Lots of Critical Damage
+ Constant AD and rare but powerful criticals
+ Versatile and Stronger Pick A Card
+ Your lifesteal will make you live more in teamfights

The Type 2 build on TF is almost the same like Type 1, but it is more a 1v1 situation build and a permanent presence, because of the lifesteal. You will have over 300/400 ad easily with this build, giving some very scary criticals.

Cons

- Same hardness to play
- Need even more farm than the Type 1 Build (Bloodthirsters...)
- Stuns/Blinds ruin Sword of the Divine crits, specially in this type of build.
- VERY Vulnerable after using Sword of the Divine (check SotD passive)
- Lack of Damage in Wild Cards spell
- Ignorant people think AD Twisted Fate is not viable, so they call you troll at queue.

In the build type 2, you risk game criticals for more damage in later game. Going with this build, will make sure that you critic like a monster, lifestealing aswell, but if you fail Sword of the Divine at mid game, you may get yourself killed. Dieing with this build complete, is losing a lot of stacks in the Bloodthirster, and so reduce your output damage.

Build Type 3

Pros

+ Fun attack speed
+ Stronger spells than AD Twisted Fate
+ Lots of Magic Damage (and quite some Physical too)
+ Constant AD and Magic Damage
+ Versatile and Stronger Pick A Card (ap and ad like now)
+ Negates HP, magic resist and armor!

The Type 3 build on Twisted Fate is a different type build. It makes you deal constant magic damage and/or physical damage, other than just physical damage with criticals. With this build, u will be having stronger spells (including stronger Wild Cards), aswell a strong attack speed, followed by magic damage attacks. This type of build will also make sure that you can't be negated with magic resist, armor and HP.

Cons

- Perhaps the hardest of all build types
- Not really an AD carry (AS like build)
- To have a sussessful laning phase, AS TF requires specific supports
- Takes a long time to finish Muramana
- No SotD CRITABOOM feeling
- Ignorant people think AS Twisted Fate is not viable, so they call you troll at queue

I like this build a lot, but this build is hard to play, and will take a long time to be complete ( in terms of Muramana). I would like to add SotD to this type 3 build... because of it being fun! But the damage it would give wouldn't be big enough for the price required to buy this item. So, its an AS TF build, without SotD!

Types of Builds Explained

Build Type 1

Build type 1 is a type of build that is focused in the following aspects:

Burst by: Sheen, Statikk Shiv, Pick A Card and Stacked Deck (less damage than AS TF)
Burst by Sword of the Divine
Contant Criticals, each dealing 500-700 critical damage
Fast Pushing

This type of build will make sure that your burst will be noticed, and people will try to focus you. I advice you to:

Never be in the front lanes if enemies are dangerous ( Skarner)
When you ulti to kill someone, try not to ulti people that can deny your burst.
Example: Kayle, Vladimir, Fizz

Build Type 2

Build type 2 is a type of build that is focused in the following aspects:

Burst by Blue, Gold and terrific aoe damage Red Card
CRITABOOM Burst by Sword of the Divine
Contant AD, 300/400.
Criticals dealing 1000-1500 damage.
Single Person Insta-Burst (careful with armor and HP)

This type of build will make sure that your Sword of the Divine burst will be very noticed, and people will try to focus you just like build type 1. I advice you to:

Never be in the front lanes, just like build Type 1
When you ulti to kill someone, try not to ulti people that can deny aswell your burst:
Example: Zed, Shaco, Gangplank
Dont try to 1v1 other adc or even apc if your Sword of the Divine is off (the active)

Build Type 3

Build type 3 is a type of build that is focused in the following aspects:

Small bursts by attack speed
More Damage in all spells ( Wild Cards, Pick A Card and Stacked Deck)
Contant physical and/or magic damage.
Armor and Magic Pen or Reduce.
Constant multiple person damage and a stronger teamfighting

This type of build will make sure that your magic and/or physical burst will be very noticed, and people will try to focus you just like build type 1. I advice you to:

Try to not be in front lanes but, try to poke with Wild Cards.
Try to not ulti a lot to kill someone full hp. This build doesn't consist in 1v1
Try to only poke in laning phase; not go for the kill. Just farm until high levels.

Runes Choice

Build Type 1 and 2

I choose this rune set:

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush

Build type 1 and 2, in mid and mid-to late game, is focused in dealing high damage burst with Sword of the Divine active.
How I do that? By having critical damage runes!

Other viable:

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush

This one garantees you a stronger early game than Critical Damage Runes, but will sacrifice some of your Sword of the Divine surprise for later game...

Critical damage runes late game: 1100+ critical damage
Physical Damage Runes late game: 600 critical damage...

So... YOU SHOULD ONLY TAKE THIS RUNE SET IF YOU KNOW THAT YOUR ENEMY ADC AND/OR SUPPORT IS/ARE VERY HARD, which you are able in Draft Pick.

In blind pick, just cross your fingers and if the enemy is indeed hard, play safe.

Build Type 3

I choose this rune set:

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush

Build type 3 can be focused in only magic damage, only physical damage or both. This rune page is very good for any of those 3 choices.

Skill Sequence

Build Type 1 and 2

I choose this skill set:

AD TF (build type 1 and 2) shouldn't focus in using his Q. Ofc that there will be times that it would be recommended to level up once (an enemy ad carry caitlyn, for example). I do believe that leveling up stacked deck first, will garantee you some attack speed, cooldown reduction and one-hit damage, which is precious for AD Twisted Fate!
This one-hit stacked deck damage is what makes you deal enough damage, until you reach Sword of the Divine.

Items Choice

Build Type 1

Start:

Item Sequence

Health Potion 50
Health Potion 50
Health Potion 50

Reason: Picking Boots and 4 Health Potion at start is what I get 80% of times in Twisted Fate, this because I really like to have an extra movement speed, so that I can dodge spells easier and more easily hit with my Pick A Card and Stacked Deck

OR

Item Sequence

Reason: Picking Doran's Blade at level 1 is quite risky. But if you believe that the laning phase will be easy - easy enemy AD Carry and you have a High Adviceful Heal Support - then it will be worthful.
Rush ASAP:

Item Sequence

Sword of the Divine 2200
Berserker's Greaves 1100
Vampiric Scepter 900

Reason: You should rush Sword of the Divine as soon as possible, why? Sword of the Divine is the core item of this Build Type 1, and should always be bought if you go Critical Damage Runes.

Other than that, Berserker's Greaves or Sorcerer's Shoes is crucial for any Twisted Fate AD Carry and in season 3, Vampiric Scepter is almost a "must to". But ofc that if you have an healer support, you won't need Vampiric Scepter that earlier.

About Doran's Blade, if you already have one, you may choose to not buy another one, remember, rush Sword of the Divine!

Epic Burst!:

Item Sequence

Statikk Shiv 2900
Sheen 700

Reason: Infinity Edge is crucial for this build! After Sword of the Divine you should already be thinking in buying it! It will increase your Critical Burst damage by a lot.

After that, you may buy Statikk Shiv and Sheen, for an All-in-one Burst. And remember, Statikk Shiv also can critic, so BOOM, critical damage runes!

BTW, u should have already sold Doran's Blade at this point.

Last Items:

Item Sequence

Bloodthirster 3400

Reason: Trinity Force in this type of build is very good. Attack speed, hp and slow and the Sheen ofc.

Bloodthirster is a crucial item if you wanna live in a teamfight or stay longer in the field instead of returning base to heal.

Replace Sword of the Divine:

Item Sequence

Runaan's Hurricane 2800

Reason: After your build is complete. You may choose to replace your Sword of the Divine, sacrificing your Sword of the Divine Critical Burst for a more constant Attack speed.

If you pick Phantom Dancer, you will get a permanent Attack Speed from the item, critical change, 5 movement speed multiplier and a Unique Passive that will allow you to move throw minions and etc. Pretty good huh?

If you pick Runaan's Hurricane, you will also get a permanent Attack Speed from the item, and a special passive that will make you able to attack an extra 2 enemies near the one you are already attacking (read the item passive).
Its a good item if your team needs more aoe for the teamfights! So, it is situational. (its a shame that riot took out Stacked Deck triple proc with this item :( but anyway, it was quite op and quite bizarre)

Other Viables:

Item Sequence

Mercurial Scimitar 3000
Blade of the Ruined King 3200
Iceborn Gauntlet 2600

Warmog's Armor - A strong and quite op item at the early phase of season 3. Now, it is quite balanced. You may take this just for defense.

Mercurial Scimitar - A crucial item if the enemy team is full of CC that points towards you!

Blade of the Ruined King - I am recently picking this item quite frequently, everytime the enemy team is hp tanky. Pick this, if you want/need to kill tanks!

Iceborn Gauntlet - I only used this item once or twice, because it is SOOOOOOO situational. I can only see this being better than Trinity Force if the enemy team is full of armor, if you need to Pick A Card faster and if you need more CC in your team.

Example End Game Build:

Item Sequence

Enchantment: Furor 450
Sword of the Divine 2200
Infinity Edge 3300
Bloodthirster 3400
Statikk Shiv 2900
Trinity Force 3333

This build garantees you a very high burst, critical damage...

and magic damage. I will explain:

Statikk Shiv Unique Passive says that after stacks, when you throw your basic attack, you proc a bunch of lightnings that will dealMAGIC DAMAGE

But thats not all! It also says that it can deal critical!

Well... if you have critical damage runes... you will deal an even bigger Electric attack that, if it deals Critical, you will deal an amazing good magic damage.

So, I can tell you that, while without Critical Damage runes it would be recommended to you to sell this item at very late game, I say NO!

Build Type 2

Start:

Item Sequence

Health Potion 50
Health Potion 50
Health Potion 50

Reason: In this type of build (Build type 2), I prefere to bring Doran's Blade. But Boots are still very good indeed! (Same reason Build Type 1)

OR

Item Sequence

Reason: While in the Build type 1 I usually get Boots, in Build type 2 I prefere to get Doran's Blade when I go Full Flat AD runes, making me a scary AD Machine! The hp and the passive makes you strong enough to live throw the laning phase (plus if you have an Healing Support).

Rush ASAP:

Item Sequence

Sword of the Divine 2200
Berserker's Greaves 1100
Vampiric Scepter 900

Reason: Same reason of Build type 2, but a little better if you go Full Flat AD runes = more AD per attack.

The other items are the same explained in Build Type 1.

Key After Sword of the Divine:

Item Sequence

Reason: Infinity Edge is also crucial for this build! After Sword of the Divine you should already be thinking in buying it! It will increase your Critical Burst damage by an extra 50%.

Critaboom Burst!:

Item Sequence

Bloodthirster 3400
Bloodthirster 3400

Reason: Do not understimate the power of 3 Bloodthirster, but beware, going for all 3 is risky if your enemy can deny your lifesteal! Besides that, you must be a very good farmer and be fed!

If you are not that fed, then you should substitute some bloodthirter's buy plans for other items.
(Situational) Changes with some BloodThirsters:

Item Sequence

Last Whisper 1450
Black Cleaver 3000
Blade of the Ruined King 3200
Runaan's Hurricane 2800

Reason: When you are going to build your 3x Bloodthirster, you may decide to change one, two or even all for the items listed above.

If the enemy team is very Armor like, you should substitute one Bloodthirster for a Last Whisper or a Black Cleaver.

Go for the Last Whisper if you are pratically the only AD in your team and you are not being focused.

Go for Black Cleaver when your team is very AD like, where reducing the enemies armor will benefit not only yourself, but your friends aswell. You should also take this item when you are being focused, why? Because it gives you hp and Cooldown Reduction, which makes you able to... lets say... choose your stun card faster, so you can save yourself sooner (and more than that...)

Blade of the Ruined King is a marvelous item in season 3, and its brilliantly good on Twisted Fate. Why? Well, it will increase your damage output when you ulti to burst someone + It gives you attack speed which also makes you able to Stacked Deck more + It gives you lifesteal + the Unique Passive! Anti-hp passive! WOW (getting this item makes you feel like an AP Varus lol)

Runaan's Hurricane is explained in Build Type 1.

Example End Game Build:

Item Sequence

Enchantment: Furor 450
Sword of the Divine 2200
Infinity Edge 3300
Blade of the Ruined King 3200
Bloodthirster 3400
Mercurial Scimitar 3000

This build garantees you a very high burst aswell, but with +AD aswell!

But there will be lack of magic damage by you from items, and some AS if you dont go for Runaan's Hurricane, and you will be dealing less Criticals.

So... I can conclude that this build, compared to Build Type 1, sacrifices Critical Change for +Critical Damage
Back to Top

Lifesteal+procs and Critical

In this Chapter, I'll explain to you how lifesteal and other hp gathering things, work on Twisted Fate

Lifesteal+procs

So, as you should already know, lifesteal can come from various items, for example, Vampiric Scepter.

But does the lifesteal work on Pick A Card?

The answer is No

But still!!!! Some other proc things ( Sheen for example) works on Pick A Card. Including Doran's Blade 5 hp per basic attack.

Yes... Doran's Blade passive works on Pick A Card attack. quite bizarre no? =S

ARMOR PEN AND LIFESTEAL DOESN'T WORK ON Pick A Card, it deals Magic Damage so No armor pen will be in work but yes Magic Pen and Spell Vamp

List of Pick A Card possible procs (passives or others):

- Doran's Blade can proc
- Kitae's Bloodrazor can proc (with more damage)
- Malady can proc
- Runaan's Hurricane can't proc
- Sheen can proc
- Lich Bane can proc
- Trinity Force can proc both slow and sheen, but not critical
- Grez's Spectral Lantern can proc the extra 200 magic damage
- The Lightbringer can proc the extra 100/200 magic damage
- Statikk Shiv can proc and ONLY the lightning can critical.
- Guinsoo's Rageblade can proc
- Wit's End can proc both magic damage for the enemy and magic resist for the player
- Sanguine Blade can proc both +1 lifesteal and 6 AD, but don't lifesteal
- Blade of the Ruined King almost impossible to know (need help to try). But I guess it procs.
- Liandry's Torment can proc

Extra note: Spellvamp works in all three damaging spells.

Critical

And now I will explain to you the critical.

As you should already know, critical is a basic attack that dealed 200% damage instead of 100% normal damage (250% if you have Infinity Edge and almost 300% if you have both critical damage runes and Infinity Edge)

So you are able to critical with basic attacks ofc, but note that:

You cannot critical while enhancing your attack with Pick A Card

You can critical while enhancing your attack with Stacked Deck

Both Stacked Deck and Pick A Card together do not Critical
Back to Top

Adviceful Supports

I am going to rank the supports: Bad, So So, Good or Very Good. Giving my oppinion and the best build to do on TF aswell (type 1, 2 or 3).

A good support is half way to win bot!

Leona

Very Good

Reason: The amount of CC of both Twisted Fate and Leona is too damn high! She also adds sunlight to the enemies, making you do a small extra damage hit (AS Twisted Fate likes it).

Advisable Build Types: 1, 2 and 3

Blitzcrank

Very Good

Reason: Blitzcrank pulling is strong, followed by his E and ulti and Twisted Fate' Stun, its just too damn fun!

Advisable Build Types: 1 and 2

Thresh

Very Good

Reason: Thresh offers a strong shield, a pull with a "come or go to", a small throw to air, and a ulti that slows everyone around him with a wall. Pretty much a different version of Blitzcrank that pleases AD/AS Twisted Fate!

Advisable Build Types: 1, 2 and 3

Alistar

Very Good

Reason: Alistar, even if rarely played nowadays, is a very good choice support in bot. He is pretty good with an AD Twisted Fate at its side, because of his CC combined with TF', and also the fact that Alistar can heal Twisted Fate.

Advisable Build Types: 1

Soraka

Very Good

Reason: Soraka has always been a very good support to follow an AD/AS Twisted Fate. In season 3, it still is. Her heal, mana and magic reduce, really helps Twisted Fate, specially if he is AS!

Advisable Build Types: 1 and 3

Nami

Very Good

Reason: I really like to have a Nami at my side when I play AD/AS TF. Why is Nami good with Twisted Fate? Well, she doesn't only offers a heal, as she can increase TF' output damage and even stun the enemies in a bubble or CC the entire enemy team with a Tsunami. Pretty impressing no? CC + heal + Damage output, impressive!

Advisable Build Types: 1 and 3

Lulu

Very Good

Reason: God lord how Lulu is annoying! This if I am the enemy. I believe Lulu is a good support for Twisted Fate, in fact, she is ranked Very Good because of her Shields, her amazing Poke, ulti and that annoying cute transformation. And dont forget! She has a spell that makes sure that, if you are AS, you will deal more damage (by increasing Twisted Fate ability power)!

Advisable Build Types: 1, 2 and 3

Janna

Good

Reason: Janna is a good support for AD Twisted Fate, still, she is quite squishy and she has hard to hit CC (tornado, a simple slow and an anti-aoe ulti). Still, it is her shield that makes Twisted Fate pleased, by giving him a protection + extra AD, making him less vulnerable and at the same time deal more AD damage = more critical damage! I can also add that, she isn't ranked Very Good because Janna' ulti may, sometimes, not be that good with Twisted Fate, why? Imagine you throw a red card into the teamfight, but your support ultis...

Advisable Build Types: 1 and 2

Sona

Good

Reason: Sona is a very good support for pretty much any kind of champions, but why isn't she ranked more up? Because, 1. She was very very very very very nerfed, 2. Her only CC is her ulti and a slow, 3. VERY squishy. She still heals tf, gives him a stronger output damage, pokes the face out of the enemy carries and makes you safe from high range champions (like Caitlyn), so, she is ranked Good and, I would say, situational.

Advisable Build Types: 1 and 3

Malphite

Good

Reason: Malphite, when going support, is a tank, poke and CC around support champion. He is ranked Good for his amazing poke, tankiness and SCARY ultimate. This ultimate, followed by stun or red card from Twisted Fate can easily make sure that a double kill just happens. But, he doesn't offer anything else (no heal or another CC spells), so, he is just ranked Good.

Advisable Build Types: 1 and 2

Taric

Good

Reason: Taric is a very strong support, a lot played in ranked games aswell. But he is not, for example, as strong support for Twisted Fate as Leona. He does offer an heal, armor aura, a stun and a damage amplifier, but what makes him not a perfect support is the fact that he doesn't offer enough CC and range safetty. Twisted Fate needs to be protected! One single stun sometimes isn't enough. But remember, its Taric, he can be VERY GOOD or TERRIBLE, depends of your allied gameplay. Also, because of his ulti, you deal more AS damage, so AS Twisted Fate is good with him aswell.

Advisable Build Types: 1, 2 and 3

nunu

Good

Reason: Why is Nunu & Willump ranked Good? Because he has slow CC's, and an attack speed steroid, and a tons of damage ulti! Damn! AS Twisted Fate LOVES IT. But he doesn't really offer anything else, being not quite good for AD Twisted Fate, but being very good with AS Twisted Fate. Tip: Stun the enemy when Nunu & Willump ultis... And by the way, when you go AS, try to prioritize E other than Q, because of Nunu & Willump attack speed.

Advisable Build Types: 2 and 3

Lux

Good

Reason: Lux can be a poke, shield and burst support in bot, so, why Good? She offers Twisted Fate a shield, a strong poke, with a small CC, and a burst-like ulti. Not enough to be a Very Good support, but strong enough to be chosen to help Twisted Fate out in bot has a Good support. Being Lux a burst champ, u should go Build type 2.

Advisable Build Types: 2

Maokai

Good

Reason: I understimated this champion has an Support. Support Maokai is a CC support. Maokai' objetive in bot, is to ward for possible ganks with saplings, CC the enemy ad carry and use his ulti to protect you, AD/AS Twisted Fate. He is quite good in the right hands, and will certanly make the enemy AD Carry QQ.

Advisable Build Types: 1 and 2

Nidalee

Good

Reason: With a Nidalee support you may go for two ways: The normal ad builds (type 1 and 2), or go poke like (build type 3). Going type 3 will make your enemies cry with both Nidalee Javelin Toss and Twisted Fate Wild Cards poke. If you go build type 1 or 2, than you should play safe! Nidalee heals, traps and pokes, so she is ranked Good.

Advisable Build Types: 1, 2 and 3

Zyra

So So

Reason: I believe Zyra has a good potencial as a support with Twisted Fate, because of her amazing CC, combined with some strong early game damage plants. Still... she is just ranked So So, because CC is all what she can offer.

Advisable Build Types: 1 and 2

Fiddlesticks

So So

Reason: Fiddlesticks support is a "fear" around champion. His objective is to silence and fear the enemy AD Carry, and what best combination in bot than a SO LONG fear + a SO LONG stun from Twisted Fate? He is ranked only So So, because, just like Zyra, he only offers CC.

Advisable Build Types: 1 and 2

Kayle

So So

Reason: Why is Kayle ranked So So? She offers Twisted Fate an heal, followed by a movement speed (easier way to hit Pick A Card), a strong slow, a little poke from her E and a VERY strong ulti. She is quite a different version of Zilean, but she offers two more thing...an heal... and a reducer passive... AS Twisted Fate likes it!

Advisable Build Types: 1, 2 and 3

Morgana

So So

Reason: Its hard to say if Morgana is a So So support. She, in season 3, is less and less played, and has become just a simple counter champion. I can only see her being strong with Twisted Fate in bot, against magic enemies, like Ezreal, Corki, Tristana... She does offer a magic resist shield, and a power that fixes the enemy, but not even with her amazing ulti she does enough. She lacks a more supportish kit.

Advisable Build Types: 2

Nautilus

So So

Reason: Picking this champion support to help Twisted Fate, is picking a "bait champion". His armor and CC will make you happy enough, but he doesn't offer anything else. So... he is So So.

Advisable Build Types: 2

Zilean

Bad

Reason: Zilean support is pretty much "a different bot", his bombs deals enournmous damage, but thats quite all what he can do in terms of poke. So, why is he Bad? Because all he can give you is his movement speed and ultimate. His movement speed spell (also slow for enemies), garantees that you will hit with a Pick A Card, and maybe kill the enemy. And thats all about zilean... and the chances of him kill stealing you, are pretty high aswell, so he is not quite a good support for Twisted Fate.

Advisable Build Types: 2

Enemy AD Carries

Just like the supports chapter, I'll tell you my oppinion about how hard will it be the laning phase (and beyond) against some enemy AD Carries.

I am going to rank the enemy AD Carries: Very Hard, Hard, Medium, Easy and Very Easy. Giving my oppinion and possible tips to follow against them.

Try always to pick Twisted Fate in easy situations! Just like any other champion!

Ezreal

Very Hard

Reasons:

Laning Phase: OMG! He is so annoying! Give him a Soraka support and the poke shall start. In laning phase all you can do is try to poke sometimes (if possible) with Stacked Deck and Pick A Card, but also try to farm. If he gains terrain, you're in trouble!

Mid Game: Don't try to ulti him if he is a good Ezreal. You'll find yourself alone with your gold card in your hand and he just blinked and flashed away! Brilliant! And besides that, in my case, everytime I would ulti to kill other champ and was sussessful... his ulti would just happear from nowhere and kill me.

Late Game: God lord... he does so much damage, and the worst is, he can deny your ulti just like mid game, and do much more! Attack speed steroid to the team? omg. Poke that never ends? Jesus Mother of God. An amazing power-like physical and magic damage spells? OK OK!

My Tips: I advice you to go Attack Damage runes, other than Critical Damage Runes. In laning phase, try to poke just like I said, but if he gains terrain, try to last hit minions using red card, or just level up your Wild Cards at level 4 (no damage purpose, only long range minions last hit).
In mid and late game, just try to kill other champs and try to survive his ulti if he does so. If he doesn't, just forget him and focus others (support or mid for example). Let Ezreal for your Vi if you do have one ^^

Advisable Supports:

Caitlyn

Very Hard

Reasons:

Laning Phase: Its her amazing poke and range that will garantee you a complicated laning phase...

Mid Game: You may try to ulti her to kill, but she may get away alive because of her net (even if provides a smaller blink than ezreal' and corki').

Late Game: Sure! Autoattack from miles away! Does so much damage... or like someone I know: "Tons of Damage!". Just like Ezreal, can possibly deny your ulti and burst you down after you ulti to kill other enemy champ (her ulti...).

My Tips: While against Ezreal I advice you to go Attack Damage runes, against a Caitlyn you shall not get close enough to her to autoattack. In laning phase, try to poke with Red Card on minions and Wild Cards. Oh, and try to not get hit by her passive, ok?
In mid-late game, just try to kill other champs and try to survive her ulti if she does so.
Dont focus her if she has exaust (very picked for her)! Remember that any champ can use powers before you stun (your stun card has a travelling time).
I also advice you to try to go Build Type 3, so that in early game you can counter-poke her with your magic damage Wild Cards.

Advisable Supports:

Varus

Medium

Reasons:

Laning Phase: The only phase that makes him a medium enemy, and not just easy. His poke will make you cry, his Q and E will make you QQ. But note that: if you have a shielder support, you will be fine!

Mid Game: At this point, varus is an easy kill, the only way he can escape is by flashing and ulting at the exact right time you happear. Still, dont understimate him, he is a very strong adc in season 3. He may not be able to harm you, but he can easily harm your allies!

Late Game: He deals a lot of damage, but you can still burst him down! But if he has cleanse, you gotta be careful. If not, do the same thing like mid game and focus him in teamfights with all you got!

My Tips: Dont get hit by his Q or E poke. If he has cleanse summoner spell or cleanse item, try only to ulti him if you are 100% sure that he will not be able to kill you before you kill him. If the enemy is pro and knows the "flash - ulti at the right time" trick, I advice you to ulti him at lower hp or just don't ulti at all, why? Because if you get caught in his ulti, he can just outrange you to death where you will only be able to use Wild Cards, which will be embarrasing.

Advisable Supports:

Miss Fortune

Medium

Reasons:

Laning Phase: For me, this is the only phase where Miss Fortune can be your nightmare! Because her poke is almost undodgeable.

Mid Game: At this point, Miss Fortune will be a nightmare for your team, but note that she isn't for you. You are always able, if you time perfectly, to dodge her ultimate or simply stun with your Pick A Card.
Addicionally, I advice you to ulti to kill her, she has no way to deny your stun (unless she buys cleanse or has cleanse summoner spell)

Late Game: At this phase, Miss Fortune ultimate can make them win the teamfights, but remember, you have different things than her. A stun, a amazing 1v1 burst and a strong tower destroying capacity!

My Tips: Her farm is almost impossible to deny, so try to play safe! If she has Cleanse summmoner spell or Quicksilver item, try only to ulti her if you are 100% sure that she will die. Flash out of her ulti ASAP when 1v1. Note that, because of her high poke capacity + her healing reduction capacity, you should have a support that should shield you from her poke, and not heal you (heal gets countered by her healing reduce).

Advisable Supports:

Graves

Medium

Reasons:

Laning Phase: Try not to get hit by his shotgun poke, and you'll be fine.

Mid Game: At this point, Graves will be strong, so be careful! I don't advice to ulti to kill him if he has some hp (+ his passive and he will be tanky). Careful with his blind... and thats all.

Late Game: At this point if you have Sword of the Divine, IE, boots and other item('s), I believe you are able to kill Graves with your ulti combo. But careful, if he has cleanse he will be scary.

My Tips: Dont let him farm. If he has Cleanse summmoner spell or Quicksilver item, and hp items, try only to ulti him if you are 100% sure that he will die. Flash out of his blind ASAP when 1v1. The build type 3 for having both armor and magic pen, is a good build to counter Graves passive.

Quinn

Medium

Reasons:

Laning Phase: Try not to get hit by his blind poke, and you'll be fine.

Mid Game: At this point, Quinn will have a lot of utility, her blinds and speed! I don't advice to ulti to kill her if she has some hp. Besides that, she can blind you before your stun card hits you, so you wont be able to activate Sword of the Divine effectively, and she is also able to ulti away with a remarkable speed...

Late Game: At this point if you have Sword of the Divine, IE, boots and other item('s), I believe you are able to kill Quinn with your ulti combo, but only if she doesn't know to blind you first! Cleanse will also hurt you.

My Tips: Play safe, she is not hard, but neither easy! Relly on your support stuns if you do have one with these. Mikael's Blessing item is also good to counter her blind (pick for your support ofc)

Advisable Supports:

Vayne

Easy

Reasons:

Laning Phase: Try not to get hit my her TUMBLE! attack, and you'll be fine.

Mid Game: At this point, you can call Vayne "an easy kill", her ulti + tumble is not enough to stop you from killing her with your ulti + stun + stacked deck + items burst.

Late Game: Careful! If vayne has Cleanse, you gotta be careful. If not, do the same thing like mid game and focus her in teamfights with all you got!

My Tips: Dont let her farm. If she has cleanse summoner spell or cleanse item, try only to ulti her if you are 100% sure that she will die. If you are low and she is going to kill you, instead of you running away from her (and die because of her passive), try to stun her, flash towards a bush and ulti out of there!

How to play with AD Critical TF

I am gonna explain to you now how to play with AD Critical TF, when you have Critical Damage runes and follow my build.

Early Game

In early game fase, you should try to play SAFE. Because, when you go Critical Damage runes, you are focusing in Mid to Late game, and not early.

Still, twisted fate is quite decent in laning phase:

- Red card from Pick A Card can make you kill 2+ minions that you wouldn't without splash, and its good to poke (can hit both enemy adc and support).
- Blue card from Pick A Card will make you last hit better, and will make you impossible of runing out of mana (even with the new patch).
- Gold card from Pick A Card is good to counter bot champions that like to go for your head (leona, for example).
- Wild Cards are good when you're having a hard time, and enemies don't let you last hit in a safe range. Leveling up this spell at level 3 or 4 make you able to last hit from afar (you must time perfectly!)
- Stacked Deck is what makes AD Critical Twisted Fate strong, because it enables you to deal more damage per 4 attacks, it increases your attack speed and makes you last hit easier.
- Your passive, Loaded Dice, makes you get faster for Sword of the Divine.

So, I can tell you for sure, your laning phase is very well secured!

Mid and Late Game

At these two phases of game, you should have already got Sword of the Divine and Infinity Edge, with these, if enemies jump on you, autoattack and only when enemies are mid hp, activate the item.

BOOM, enemy dead :)

But now, about what to do, you should do the following things:

- Farm a lot. Farm the jungle, your botlane, farm farm farm, make good use of that Loaded Dice passive!
- Try to gank mid with your ultimate if enemy mid is pushing a lot and don't have escape mechanisms (example: Malzahar). But only do this if your allied mid is ready for it!
- Try to focus on enemy bot lane turret everytime they aren't there. I advice you to only do this if your support warded well the river. That way, if you see them coming, just ulti away!
- Focus in Infinity Edge with all your strenght!
- Do not 1v1 anyone that can leave your stun or just can outmatch you! (explained later in "When to ulti")
- Aditionally, don't let enemy ADC farm.

BE SAFE. BE BRAVE. BE ADC TWISTED FATE!

When to Ulti

In this Chapter, I'll advice you for when to ulti to kill someone.

Important Aspects: You should only ulti to kill someone if:
You have flash and ignite ready (ignite is important vs lifesteal/liferegeneration/spellvamp...)
Your team is not in a teamfight
    You are high/full hp
    You have stun ready

Situations

There will be many cases where you will find yourself questioning: "should I ulti to kill him?"

I'll answer that question with questions!

Does your enemy has strong escape mechanisms? example:
Can your enemy Deny your burst? example:
Is your enemy a tank? example:
Can your enemy instantly recover big part of his hp? example:
Can he... somehow... revive? example:
Can he cleanse or protect from your Stun Card? example:

DO NOT ULTI TO KILL AN HIGH HP ENEMY IF HE HAS CLEANSE ITEM OR CLEANSE SUMMONER SPELL

Now... lets stop reading all of this, lets go for some videos!

Video Situations

Good Situation
A Twitch, after farming bot, decides to go base... but me, AD Critical Twisted Fate, didn't let him go!

Has you can see, Twisted Fate can almost instantly kill a squishy enemy champion. By doing this a lot of times in a game, you will not only annoy the enemy, as you will be fed.

Twisted Fate - His items changes/patchs

Patch 3.7 - Stacked Deck was changed a little! His passive now instead of giving to Twisted Fate 15% Cooldown Reduction and 15% Attack Speed, it only now gives 30% Attack Speed! Its quite good for AD [Twisted Fate]], that AS is amazing!
But unfortunally his ultimate was nerfed in early cooldowns, but that isn't quite a big problem for AD Twisted Fate, because he rarely will need to gank mid with his ultimate or even use it early game.

Patch 3.8 - WOW!!!! Love this patch, and besides that, my build mechanics on Twisted Fate where buffed! This by making one of Sword of the Divine earlier items less expensive, and that is Recurve Bow, that is now 50g less expensive (from 950g). Also boots less expensive = 1 more extra pot.

Aditionally, Malady was deleted, and now its passive went to Nashor's Tooth. Also Wit's End was changed a little. Not a big deal for Build Type 3 Twisted Fate, but in fact, a tiny buff!

Thanks

I thanks El Guecko for helping me choose an item for AS TF (third build). He had the idea of Void Staff instead of Liandry's Torment.

I Thanks dastomett for showing me that AD Carry Twisted Fate and Maokai bot combination is quite good.

I thanks JoaoCupido (my brother) for helping me doing my video(s).
