Chapter 1

Introduction

Ive recently reworked the way i play Ashe. The way you play ashe should change every time depending on your opponents team composition and how well you are doing. Ashe does heavy damage after she gets infinity edge, so that should always be rushed as quickly as possible. However, if your opponents are tanky and or beefy with high armor stats, you should not rush a phantom dancer after you buy a Bloodthirster. Instead grab a last whisper or black cleaver. My choice of shoes is swift usually due to her naturally low movement speed, however if your opponents have characters with long taunts, fears or stuns you should get merc trends instead. Lastly if you are not dying alot then there is no need to buy a defensive item on ashe, your lifesteal should be enough to keep you alive. If you are dying more than you like then you should get a defensive item such as hexdrinker, banshees, or GA. I've even seen some ashe players get a warmongs. You really just want some more hp for ashe when stuff like this happens, typically when your opponents have countered ashe with burst gap closers aka kassadin, akali, katarina, and can easily get past your tanks to assassinate you.

Combat advice:
I prefer to play Ashe either mid or 2v1 situations, mostly because laning 2v2 will put you behind in damage since you must share your last hits with your lane partner, you always want to farm infinity edge as quickly as possible. Laning by yourself and focusing on last hitting should generally let you farm an infinity edge by 18-20 mins. I've heard its possible to farm within 15 mins with perfect last hiting skills and no lane harassment.. If you end up laning 2v2, just hope that you dominate the lane, if you don't you will be behind in attack damage until you get infinity.. This build does not rely on attack speed by any means and is meant to be a high damage build. Make sure to always stay in the back for team fights, typically you will be attacking tank even tho you don't want to. this is because they will aim for you in an attempt to take you out as quickly as possible, often you will be kiting the tanks with Q and W in an attempt to survive. Never waste your Ult on tanks unless you are about to die, or you are ganking that tank because he is alone.

Summoner Spells:
I like flash and ghost. Both can be used either offensively or defensively as you please. Sometimes you need to flee, sometimes to chase. Flash is great to get that last hit in and ghost really helps with kiting and Frost stalking.

I used to like heal instead of flash, but honestly heal is useless late game and the only thing heal is good for on Ashe is to bait your enemy into tower diving for the kill early game by fooling the enemy into thinking you have less health than you actually have. This strategy doesn't work as often in higher Level play since good players check their opponents summoner spells. So once late game comes around heal wont save you like flash would. Bottom line, Flash > Heal.
