Introduction

Hi as you can see this is my Nocturne Dominion guide that is still a work in progress. If you have and suggestions please post below and i will look over the points to see if they are worth adding to this guide.

Goal: To create a Nocturne Dominion guide that can be used by players new to Nocturne with a balance of high damage output and survivability.

Pros / Cons

Pro's
- Clear Minion waves easy
- Great Maneuverability around the map
- Fear
- Spell Blocks
- High Damage Output
- Passive Life steal

Con's
- Squishy early game (Depending on Chosen Items)
- Focused Hard
- Seem to be outnumbered alot
- Paranoia is amazing for stopping caps and helping team members but most point stops will end up being 1v2 or 1v3

Skill Sequence

Q - Duskbringer is the mother of all spells with Nocturne Increasing speed to chase down enemy's and zip around the map and increases damage when standing in it, if you hit a enemy champion it will leave a dusk trail behind it so you can chase and get that kill.

W - Shroud of Darkness Now this spell is very important but compared to Duskbringer and Unspeakable Horror it comes in third place but it is important that you put one point into shroud at level 4 for the spell block.

E - Unspeakable Horror should be maxed out before finishing Shroud of Darkness because fear is your ally and more points in fear means more hits and life steal on your enemy because the fear time is increased, while Shroud of Darkness upgrades are pretty standed not greatly increasing the Attack Speed or cool-downs.

R - Paranoia what can i say if you don't get your Ultimate at 6/11/16 you a flat out bad player you should know when to get Ultimate points HAHAHA. But in all seriousness only use this for cap defends, ganks and to help your team in those sticky moments.

Summoner Spells

Garrison - Is a good choice in any Dominion game helps restore caps that have lost some cap points by minions or foes also stops caps by enemy's with a large radius. Ive found i don't use this ability much when attacking mainly defense seems to work better, only time i would use in offense is when it is a 1v1 and you can get the kill don't feed HAHAHA.

Ghost - Awesome for early game because everything is about speed and capping top point 1st, also makes for a good escape and moving between points to defend.

Only other Summoner Spell i would use is Exhaust great for that dire need kill and Point Cap defense.

Runes

Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed - Movement speed is a must in Dominion top control of the map is key to most games, other than that less time between points witch mean captures are halved already considering it would take just that little bit longer to get there.

Greater Mark of Desolation - These are standard marks for a Nocturne build, is really effective against high armored champions early/mid game till you build your final item high armor targets build a last whisper if you want pure damage i would suggest Infinity Edge. (Ive left the final item unbuilt for match difference purpose)

Greater Glyph of Attack Speed - I was tossing up between AS/CR/MR Glyphs and decided to go with the Attack Speed Glyphs, Nocturnes passive is amazing with alot of DMG/AS and i have always used Attack Speed Glyphs with him but you can pick and choose between the three.

Greater Seal of Armor - Now other builds i have read on Dominion Nocturne have suggested Mana Regen Seals now i don't know why because Dominion games are short and you seem to be moving around alot between points and if not going back to buy to make that capture ever so easy so i have never ever ran out of mana on nocturne in dominion, but this is just a guide you don't have to follow word for word if you are consuming too much mana try some regen runes it cant hurt.

Rune Replacement Suggestions

Greater Quintessence of Desolation For the armor-pen against high armor champions such as Rammus the demon on Dominion.

Greater Mark of Attack Damage Don't like the armor-pen go flat AD for the pure early game damage.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist Who doesn't like a bit of magic resist.

Greater Seal of Armor Nothing i really don't think that there are any other decent seals besides

Masteries

Ive just gone with the Original 21/0/9 build there was no difference in the tree's for Dominion so had a quick glance and decided it was still valid to keep the tree as is.

If your not doing so well and you are dieing off pretty fast try 0/21/9 to get some defense on your side

Match Stats

If you follow this guide you will defiantly be in the top 3 95% of the time and win 98% of your Nocturne matches.

Unique Skills

Paranoia - Is amazing for this game mode it allows you to gank stop caps and save your team members that are in dire situations, it also makes for a good escape if you can get the distance between you and your foe.

Core Items

Prospector's Blade - Is NOT a core item you may want to sell it off mid game for a higher damage item.

Mobility Boots or Boots of Swiftness are a must have for point control.

Sanguine Blade - Is second to none when it comes to Damage and Life steal. Only other life steal item i would recommend is Zeke's Harbinger

Ionic Spark and Kitae's Bloodrazor - are crucial for Nocturnes passive and they both offer great passives for Dominion.

Summary

All other items are optional and can be built in any order remember this is just a guideline build to your opposing team. I highly recommend Priscilla's Blessing if you are the team point taker, or Infinity Edge if you just want that extra damage and critical to your stats.
