Introduction & About Me
Hello this is l3urntOut and I am here to share and hopefully get some feedback on my personal guide to Darius. Just a few things about Darius I want to highlight to show the thinking behind this build/guide. Noxian Guillotine is basically what has made Darius the overpowered champ he is, even post first nerf he is still ridiculously powerful. It does tons of AD Scaling true damage which is proced by stacks of Hemorrhage. So to maximize his abusive ult, we need to get tons of Hemorrhage procs on quickly. So comparative to other guides, this one focuses a bit more on attack speed rather than just damage.
I am level 30 with the runes recommended, so results may vary without
I wrote this guide for semi-experienced players with at least general knowledge about
This is my first guide so don't expect excellent formatting.
If you like it, then upvote it pl0x
P.S. This is meant to be a short quick guide on how to quickly use Darius semi-effectively.
To be honest, nothing much is really to be said here. Just standard AD runes, with flat AD instead of Armor Pen Marks due to the passive of his Apprehend.
Again, standard 21/9 for AD and defense. I know that many people prefer to put it into health, rather than hp regen, in the defense masteries, but hey, personal preference really.
Ghost :Escaping, Initiating, grabbing, being awesome. This is what ghost does.
Flash :Hooray you escaped, Hooray you got a kill, useful but not as versatile as Ghost
Teleport :Saves towers, steals barons, wins games, you name it. Your support warding the lower bushes? Well then, tele to the ward and give them a nasty surprise.
Exhaust :Good for 1v1 & slowing someone, but honestly your Crippling Strike and Apprehend should do the trick.
Ignite :Your supposed to finish with your ult, but if used early, wth not
Heal :Screams noob but still useful.
I stopped caring here.
Tips, Hints, Tricks, Combos & More
Hemorrhage stacks are important.
Decimate is your cheap harass, easy farm, & damage dealer.
Spread the wealth, don't take ALL the kills.
Focus on one person with your grab, if you get more thats a bonus.
Try to hit them with the blade of Decimate, it does a much larger amount of damage.
Sometimes using Apprehend in the middle of a teamfight can disrupt channeling champions, protect your carries, and disorient the enemy team.
Combos: AA = Auto Attack
Apprehend + AA + Crippling Strike + AA + Decimate ---> Intermix AA's Crippling Strike & Decimate after the initial combo.
AA + Crippling Strike + Decimate + Apprehend + AA + Crippling Strike + AA + Decimate
Noxian Guillotine only when sure of a kill.
Thanks ahead of time, and I would really appreciate any ideas or feedback on this build.
